WCW "World Championship Wrestling" was formed in January 1991 and ended in December 2001 when it merged into the WWE, which was a shame. It was a great 10 years of Wrestling. I liked it way better than WWE and when they mergered, Wrestling was at it's worse and still is today.
Any WCW Comments or Memories...

Many of the Four Horsemen moments, including Flair's return, Arn's retirement, and Flair beating Bischoff to become President. Goldberg beating Hogan for the title in Atlanta. Buff Bagwell's injury. And almost anything involving Disco Inferno. The guy was a riot! He was great with Alex Wright, and with the Wolfpac.

I was a Crockett Promotions fan (what would eventually become WCW) from back in the NWA days.Really I was a fan of most of the territorial NWA groups throughout the 80s.Probably more than WWF because it was so "cartoonsish".But I still followed it too.As much of an NWA fan as I was,it got pretty frustrating to see what wcw was becoming toward the end. What was far sadder is that it all could have been prevented and WCW should still be here today. As far as some of my favorite memories of WCW itself go,I would have to say that watching Vader become the most feared and dominating heel since Brusier Brody ranks up there.Flairs return in Sept.1998 was classic. The year plus silence that built up Sting vs Hogan was some of the best booking ever. The nWo's first real hostile takeover of Nitro...the one where Nash sent Mysterio head first into the trailer. The short lived version of the Horsemen that included Flair,Anderson,Beniot and Pillman.Cactus jack's 91-92 feud with Sting was brutal and ahead of its time.Anything involving the Great Muta was worth watching then too....theres so many more ....too many to list in one post though lol.

Worst Comment WCW only to Canada three times all to Toronto!!! That is pretty bad when they only pick one city. Only 3 times that's even worse!!!!!!

I think the NWO was a great idea until they let 75 people join it. They should have kept it at around 5 or 6 members. I also hated Mark Madden. I stopped watching it once they brought in "celebrity wrestlers" like Dennis Rodman, Jay Leno & David Arquette.

See? It got so bad that I forgot about "The Mailman" wrestling.

I did like Dennis Rodman a bit though, and he wasn't in it that long so I don't think he was too bad. I did hate Karl Malone, didn't like him as a basketball player either.

Worst Comment WCW only to Canada three times all to Toronto!!! That is pretty bad when they only pick one city. Only 3 times that's even worse!!!!!! New Blood Rising, the PPV from August of 2000 was in Vancouver, and IIRC, the ensuing Nitro and Thunder afterwards were held in Canada. I'm positive though that New Blood Rising was in Vancouver. My favorite WCW memory is when the one time they came to Portland on May 19th, 1998 (I remember this because it was the day before my birthday and the tickets were a birthday gift from my dad.) It was a WCW Saturday Night taping and the crowd was very appreciative for their first taste of live WCW. WCW provided us with some awesome matches like a superhot Chavo Guerrero Jr Vs Dean Malenko match for the WCW Cruiserweight title and match 3 of the Booker T Vs Chris Benoit Best of 7 series. Even some of the squash matches had the crowd into it. After four hours, the crowd was still hot for the somewhat lackluster main event of Konnan Vs The Giant. I always hoped till the end of WCW that WCW would come back to Portland. But Portland has been a WWF town since the 60s and always will be a WWF/E town even though attendence for the last few shows haven't been good.
