Who had the best matches against Randy Savage?
I would have to say Hulk Hogan.
Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage had some great matches in the WWF. Soon after Randy came to the WWF he would always challenge Hogan and say he was Wrestling chumps and to take on a real man, a "Macho Man", and even had Elizabeth go to the ring and announce this after Hogan's matches. When they finally Wrestled for the first time (I believe) Randy beat Hogan the first 2 matches they ever had. Both matches were by out smarting Hogan and having him get counted out of the ring, unfortunitly the belt couldn't switch hands this way though. The 3rd match was a "Lumberjack" match which Hogan won. This took place around 1985, a great year for Wrestling.
Ricky Steamboat and George Steele were great too. When Jake the "Snake" Roberts went against Macho it was great also, they didn't face each other enough though or I would of listed him too.

Hogan got his best matches from Savage, however I think Savage got his best matches from Steamboat.

Yeah, your right, good point, I agree with you on that. All 3 of them sure had some great title matches against each other, great classic WWF matches for sure.

Savage Off the top rope with the ring bell over and over onto Steamboats throat was one the the most memeriable matches I've witnessed. Great match, great finish.

Yeah, that was an incredible scene and tight match. I heard Steamboat was eating soup for 3 weeks after that. Randy really made that match personal.

Steamboat had the best match against Savage at WM 3, although the George Steele interference was not neccesary. I did see a Roberts/Savage cage match in 1992 and it seemed both wrestlers were going through the motions to get the match over quickly. The Roberts/Savage feud was probably more memorable for the angles, not the matches. The Honky feud was underated in my mind and I have to say my favorite Savage feud. Honky shoving Elizabeth and smashing the guitar on Savage's head is an all time moment.

I don't know about the best, but George The Animal Steele's were the most entertaining Yeah they had some great matches, especially on Saturday Night's Main Event. The whole Macho, Elizabeth, and George the "Animal" story worked great. Lol, George giving Elizabeth flowers before the match, Randy taking them and beating George over the head with them, lol, "Classic".
