Jake Roberts: Pick Your Own Poison DVD
So does anybody have this or recommend it. I heard that there is a special disc that has extra matches but only comes with some DVD sets? Does anybody know anything about this or how to get it with the extra DVD?I think it may have come with a limited set that only came from Best Buy or somewhere? If I bought the DVD I'd want the whole thing ya know.

I've ordered this dvd off play.com and I can't wait to watch it. Jake was awesome back in the day - one of the greatest interviews in the history of wrestling. A genuinley scarey guy when he played a heel.

I own the DVD and it was very informative. Jake is great on interviews telling stories, or, as in this case, on a docomeentary telling a story. You can chronologically map Jake's personal demons as they seeped up through the cracks (no pun inteded) along the years. The bonus matches are cool. I never saw the one vs. Rick Rude in Madison Square Garden before. The N.W.A. footage was pretty classic, too.

Wow, that's "docomeentary." How did that typo happen?

Would be cool to see some of his NWA stuff as well, wish I could even see his Florida stuff with Kevin Sullivan, Woman, and company.

Worth having good classic bouts with a couple of surprises from Smokey Mountain Wrestling and WCW. His own story is told better in Beyond The Mat.

But was it him telling his story in Behind the Mat, or was there post-production manipulation to make him look bad? Mind you, that's not that hard to you. Poor Jake. You gotta love him for all the greatness he gave pro wrestling, but his personal demons deserve their own shelf at Wal-Mart.
