Former ECW Happy Not To Be Working In New WWECW

In his latest site commentary, Lance Storm makes it clear that he's happy he turned down WWE's offer of working in ECW and the sad state of affair on RAW where there seems to be little wrestling these days. Below is a snippet on what Storm has to say on ECWL

"What can I say about ECW, other than I’m really glad I turned down the contract they offered me. I considered it very seriously when Dreamer contacted me early this year. I loved my old ECW days and working with Tommy and Paul again had a lot of appeal. In hindsight though this isn’t ECW one more time, it’s WWECW a completely new entity and more than anything else just a third WWE brand. This isn’t to say it will be a bad brand just not ECW like it once was. For those of you out there who like the new product I propose you start the chant We-C-Dub so as not to destroy the legacy of the original E-C-DUB, because this really has little to do with the Original product."

Meh. As for Lance Storm, they could take him or leave him. Not all that vital.

The Impact Players could have added to the tag ranks. But Its not the same ECW and im lgad Storm hasnt gotten into it

Lance had half of what it took to be big. He could wrestle, but he couldn't speak. Without Heyman's protection Lance wouldn't have gone anywhere in the new "ECW"

i like Storm but he would do nothing look at two former ECW Champs Dreamer and Justin Credible both jobbing now in the new ECW what the messed is going on!!

Lance did have the ability but as you say he had terrible mic skills and if your to make it you need both for a believable character. Lance IMO never had what it took to be a big star in any federation he was a mid carder at best.
