Rumored WWE Names For ECW, Tanaka & More

As noted, the Sci Fi channel would like aliens of some sort to be apart of new ECW show. There is hope the show will debut at a 1.0 rating, and after a strong showing, the program could be moved to the USA Network.

Masato Tanaka is interested in wrestling full-time for ECW. Meltzer reports that WWE has offered Tanaka a contract.

Speaking of potential ECW talent, the Pro Wrestling Insider reports that names being considered for the ECW brand include Charlie Haas, Rob Conway. Jimmy Yang (Akio), Matt Hardy, and Shannon Moore

I dont know how ECW is going to pull off this Alien gimmick. I mean I dont believe ECW fans are going to be intrested in seeing Alien wrestling.LOL.

ECW really has its work cut out and with the new Sci-fi stipulations is going to make things alittle tougher as far as storylines go. I can see them pulling off the Vampire gimmick if they bring in Gangrel and revive the Brood that could really help things. But this Alien gimmick really is puzzling to me.
