The WWF has had some Good Talk Show segments.
From the Legendery Piper's Pit to the Brother Love Show.
From Jesse Ventura's Body Shop to Dude Love's Spoof Talk show The Love Shack.
All the way back to the origianl Roger's Corner.
As well as some less well known ones such as The Snake Pit and Hartbreak Hotel.
So which one of the Classic WWF Talk Shows is your Favirote??

Yeah Ricky, some good ones indeed, I always liked when they had shows like this. I even liked the one WCW had with That 70s Guy "Mike Awesome". I have to go with the Hot Rod, geez, so many great memories of those Pits, Snuka, Mr.T, the Haiti Kid, Frankie Williams, they were so great. So glad I have every one on tape too.

Oh yes The Lava Lamp Lounge. One of Only 3 that WCW actauly Did.
The Other 2 were
Dew Drop Inn (Dusty Rhoades)
&
A Flair For The Gold (Ric Flair)

Hard to go with anyone but Piper. It was unforgettable moments (Snuka, Williams, Orton, Orndorff, Sammartino, etc.), plus the ignition for unforgettable feuds (Hogan vs. Andre, Piper vs. Adonis, etc.). I enjoyed The Snake Pit and The Heartbreak Hotel, but it seemed obvious to me they were just trying to fill the void left by Piper. Brother Love's appeal to me ran out within six months of his debut. After that, seeing him get his ass kicked was more important than the actual interview segment.

There was also Funk's Grill (Terry Funk), Sullivan's Saloon (Kevin Sullivan), The Danger Zone (Paul E.) Larry's Legends (Larry Zbyszko), and nWo Nightcap (Eric Bischoff). I also think Dusty's show was the Bull Drop Inn, wasn't it?

So what WCW show was the best then?

I didn't really get a chance to see those because I wasn't watching Wrestling then I guess, but definitely would of liked too. So what WCW show was the best then? I thought Flair For The Gold was the best. Ric Flair started hosting this after he returned to WCW in 1993 following his year and a half stint in the WWF. The set was made to look something like a Park Ave. apartment. He had the Fifi the maid and Arn Anderson would sit at the bar. I think one of the best shows was when he had the Hollywood Blondes (Brian Pillman & Steve Austin) on and they were making fun of how old he and Arn were. That led to a pretty good tag match between the two at the June '93 Clash of the Champions and a funny skit put on by Austin & Pillman called "Flair For The Old". The show also had a couple of low moments though too, like Paul Roma being introduced as a Horsemen at Slamboree '93 and The Shockmaster bursting through the set and losing his helmet at the August '93 Clash of the Champions. Aside from that though, I thought it was great.

You can't beat Piper's Pit. The rest, no matter how good, are just imitations.
