The only two matches confirmed for the ECW One Night Stand PPV on 6/11 are Rob Van Dam vs. John Cena for the WWE title, and Dean Malenko vs. Chris Benoit as another Eddie Guerrero tribute. Both Benoit and Malenko personally asked to do the match on that show. As things stand now neither Benoit or Malenko are going to be involved with the ECW promotion after the One Night Stand show.
The first ECW house show will be on 6/24 at the New Alhambra Arena, which of course is the old "ECW Arena." That show will be two weeks after racing star Hermie Sadler promotes a TNA Wrestling show in the same building. The ECW house show will be one of five wrestling events in that area in the month of June as CZW runs on 6/10, CHIKARA Pro runs on 6/25, and Pro Wrestling Unplugged runs on 6/23.
