Regardless of what is being said by TNA President Dixie Carter and others within the company, tonight's live TNA iMPACT! airing one hour earlier from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET (instead of the usual 9:00-11:00 p.m.) is an experiment to see if the show will perform stronger in a different timeslot.
They are still slated to return to the old timeslot next week on April 12th, but they are definitely looking at the idea of moving it up one hour considering how low numbers have been since March 8.

My personal opinion is if they see to show Impact an hour earlier to see if it will perform stronger in a different time slot then it will only defeat the whole purpose of them moving Impact to mondays. They wanted this 3 months ago after they tested it out on January 4th. It took 2 months for the actual move to happen but now it's like they are going back on it. I say they should keep what they originally wanted with moving Impact to mondays. They wanted to go head to head with WWE. Now they see Impact isn't doing so well on monday's at the same time as RAW. Guess their bright idea of going head to head with WWE is back firing on them.

TNA has been much better the last couple of weeks. The damage may have already been done though. The WWE is going back to their roots of success. I liked the NWA in the 80's better but most didn't. TNA is going the same way, better wrestlers but less popular=less income coming in. I caught a couple of minutes of Smackdown, wreaked of 80's -early 90's WWF from what I saw. TNA is now doing the right things, heels squashing popular Hardy and Van Dam. Those two are getting big pops too. I only watch TNA and want Vince to fail but don't see that any time soon.

I agree i do think the damage has already been done, TNA really needed to do a couple of really good shows in the first couple of weeks of when they went live and they just didnt. Iv said it before its sink or swim for TNA and at the moment i just see it as treading water. Vince just doesnt see TNA as a threat which at the moment they arnt. So they really need to do something amazing to get the viewers back. I think bringing RVD and Jeff in is a start they just need to use them correctly

To comment about Trish saying it's sink or swim for TNA. It may appear they are sinking. If the damage has already been done. I must say it's probably in result of moving Impact to monday nights. Now they wanna go back on going head to head with RAW in full to have Impact come on an hour earlier. Their intentions of having Impact on mondays at the same time as RAW has back fired in their faces. It's like now they are going head to head with RAW half ass by having Impact come on an hour earlier. Say what you want about the ratings with them showing Impact at the same time as RAW for 2 hours. It wont change the fact of the matter that this is what they wanted. I can speak for myself to say I was happy with Impact being on Thursdays. The only way I see TNA being able to repair the damage is working something out with Spike TV to show Impact for 3 hours and they must get rid of the replay showing of Impact on Thursdays.

Now I can speak on part of the damage is from TNA not knowing what they want. They keep changing things. First it was to move Impact to monday nights. Then it was to have it come on an hour earlier. Now it's to move it back to thursday nights. Are they even able to make up their freakin minds and stick to whatever it is they might want? I have to assume they are giving Spike TV a headache.

Yeah id say spike tv are deffo getting a headache with al the moves its making me feel dizzy lol but it deffo looks like there moving back to thursday nights just found this little snippit "TNA Impact is moving back to its Thursday night time slot on Spike TV according to Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net. According to his report, the announcement was made earlier monday in a talent meeting prior to the tapings."
So its safe to say the war is over! Didnt last long did it lol

I don't see the war to be completely over. Although it looks like for now it will be untill TNA comes up with another bright idea to go head to head with WWE. Here's a wrestling company who has been changing things the past 6 months since signing Hulk Hogan. Don't expect them to give up that easy just because them having Impact on monday nights didn't work out. Impact was originally on fridays so if anything they should had moved Impact back on friday nights to go head to head with SmackDown.
