Not that any body really cares lol but WWE released Lance Cade on Friday. Details regarding his departure are not immediately known.
Cade was in the midst of the biggest push of his career in 2008 (in an alliance with Chris Jericho) when he was released for an apparent drug overdose that resulted in him having a seizure on an airplane.
The company brought him back in October 2009 and had planned on re-debuting him in the coming weeks.

You're right. I really don't care. Although I am surpized to know that there's actually people who want to work for WWE. If they aren't anyone who WWE will have as top star, they shouldn't bother with them. I am also surprized Matt Hardy hasn't gotten a pink slip yet. It's not like WWE is gonna push him to be a World Champion or anything. Although I do see them waiting on releasing him to see if Jeff Hardy comes back. Let me say this. Word going around. Both Jeff Hardy and Shannon Moore want him to quit WWE and come to TNA. All WWE's about is letting go talent to free up more money to pay wrestlers like Cena. So yeah, I wont care of WWE releasing anyone else even though I do want Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho in TNA.

As reported Cade was supposed to be called up to the main roster. Cade revealed in an interview with the folks over at PWInsider.com plans were delayed because he went to rehabilitation for an addition to sleeping pills. Cade said in the interview he was having problems with painkiller withdrawal which caused him insomnia which resulted in him turning to sleeping pills.
Cade asked the WWE office to be placed in a rehabilitation program at which he completed in four weeks in early March. He was released by WWE for the second time on April 2, 2010 after going to Shawn Michaels and being told he was finished as a top guy.
Cade was released from the first time from WWE in October 2008 after a drug overdose that caused him to have a seizure on an airplane

Compared to some of the not so talented "stars" on the wwe roster i think it's a shame reallly. He was trained by HBK so you know he'll have the talent.. instead of teaming him up with some useless partner like trevor murdoch, has he been fired yet? Matt Hardy is another who will never get a big push, he's just a hardcore holly or funaki now, jobber at best.

Haha yeah murdoch got released a while ago if my memory serves me right. And when you looked at cade in the wwe you would never of known him be trained by WWE, but its just wwe been wwe at the end of the day only push you if they like your look
