Scott Hall has either signed a contract with TNA Wrestling or is close to agreeing to one. Apparently Hall is slated to return to the company on the January 4th edition of Impact. Hall severely strained his relationship with TNA back in 2007 when he no-showed a pay-per-view main event.
Obviously there is a lot of talk that Hall coming in is yet another move for the forthcoming Hogan era in TNA as former WWE star Sid Vicious is rumored to debut on the January 4th Impact as well. Hall is friends with Sid and recently competed in a tag team with his son.
Another former name TNA is trying to bring in is Ric Flair. Hogan and Eric Bischoff have been pushing Dixie Carter to bring in the workers they feel are needed to make a serious run against WWE.

wwe beat them despite tna having record viewers... no surprise there. how many more people are going to be brought in who cant wrestle a full match anymore. hell i thought the blond nasty bo needed a cane to walk around. how the hell are these guys supposed to work a match, and do i actualy want to see them try the close up of saggs neck fat as he walked by the camera after trashing 3d's locker room looked like a bowl of tapioca pudding...and this guy is gonna get in the ring ? the nasty boys sucked ass in the 80's and 90's and there gonna suck ass in 2010. hall will let them down again too, hes a fukken drunk

I believe in Scott Hall only was able to sign with TNA because of Hulk Hogan. Everyone should remember his no show @ Turning point 2007. That was the night that Samoa Joe had a mic full of words to say to Scott Hall, and went off telling the true meaning of a TNA superstar. To TNA since they are going the direction as the new WCW, they had to include Scott Hall. Esspecially with TNA wanting the Band to get back together. It would had been impossible without the first man to invade Nitro who began the Monday Night War. It looks like it's comming back, and soon!!!

I dont think TNA should be going down the lines of the new wcw, at the end of the day look what happened to wcw. they really need to elevate there new up and coming starts instead of bringing in old has beens such as scott hall. Fair enough if they can still work matches then hats off to them, people like jeff jarrett, sting they have still got steam left in their engins. But people like scott hall, hulk hogan havent so they should just back down

TNA had to get Hogan. With Hogan, they also got Bischoff. It was those two who came up with this. I would had liked to see if TNA could had been able to go head to head with WWE without either of them. They brought in Mick Foley towards end of 2008. I was ok with that, so far he's done an ok job. I don't know if was just Dixie Carter, or her and Jarrett comming up with the idea to bring in Hogan, but this is what TNA has. We gotta live with it. Even with Dixie's crappy attitude. She said this during the press conference about her wanting to try something and fail at it, than not to try it at all. I liked the pace TNA was going. TNA just needed to spend more time promoting, but this TNAtion thing hasn't really done much at all with that. TNA needs to get out of Orlando for starters and go on a nationwide schedule like WWE. TNA gets WWE wrestlers going there who want to work less. That's how they got Jeff Hardy!
