Maryse is in Birmingham, Alabama today where she will be examined by orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Maryse injured her knee during her Divas Championship match against Mickie James at WWE Night of Champions on Sunday. It is the same knee she dislocated in December 2008 and has been dealing with problems ever since. When she tweaked her knee at the pay-per-view, the feeling is it caused a more serious problem.

Maryse revealed on her Twitter page this morning her doctor in Birmingham, Alabama is Dr. Jeff Dugas. Dugas is under Dr. James Andrews at the Andrews Sports Medicine And Orthopedic Center. While I have yet to receive 100% confirmation, the belief is Maryse underwent surgery on her knee in Birmingham on Tuesday and is currently there recovering

Maryse is currently doing physical therapy on her knee in Birmingham, Alabama. The former WWE Divas Champion underwent surgery this past Tuesday under the care of Dr. Jeffrey Dugas.
