Edge, one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, was injured at last night's SmackDown/ECW house show in San Diego, California. Edge was working with Jeff Hardy when he hurt his ankle so bad the match had to be stopped and EMTs rushed out to ringside. Edge got on the mic and apologized to the live audience

Edge has been diagnosed with a torn Achilles tendon. He sustained the injury in a match with Jeff Hardy at last night's SmackDown/ECW house show in San Diego, California.
He will be going to get the injury evaluated in the next day or so. If it turns out that the injury is a complete tear he will be out for year and will have to have surgery, however if its only a slight tear he will be out for about 3 months and will have to rehab the ankle. Ither way its a pretty serious inury...

Edge had sugery on his ankle today he is expected to be out for at least 6 months
