Tennessee's WBBJ-TV is reporting that former WWE tag champion, , has been arrested for public intoxication.

Brian Christopher Lawler, son of Jerry "The King" Lawler, was arrested just before 3:00 a.m. Friday at a convenience store. The store clerk told officers Lawler fell over a cooler outside the store before coming inside.

According to the police report, "Mr. Lawler was very unsteady on his feet, had slurred speech and once placed in custody became very belligerent. The officer said cursed and threatened him as he arrested him. At one point, the officer stated Lawler threatened to rip off his head."

Lawler is currently in the Madison County Jail and will appear in Jackson City Court on Monday. This is his second arrest this year - he was picked up for disorderly conduct back in February.

Sad that this is something a former WWE tag champion has come down to but its not the 1st time we've seen something like this happen.

It is sad. i saw this on another website yday and was gutted. I loved too cool i loved them as a tag tem and both scotty and grandmaster as individuals. I was gutted when both got let go especially grandmaster because he got let go because of drugs and he obviously hasnt learned from his mistakes

The son of Jerry Lawler, Brian Christopher Lawler, was ordered to pay a $50 fine and attend 30 days of rehabilitation by a judge in Jackson City Court yesterday morning after he entered a guilty plea to public intoxication.

Lawler was arrested early Friday morning for being drunk in public and threatening police officers. This will be Lawler's third stint in rehab

Maybe his 4th stint will be the last one. But I doubt it just seems like hes got a real problem with sticking to rehab or what they try to help him with.

The Jackson Sun is reporting the son of Jerry Lawler, Brian Christopher Lawler, was jailed today for failing to comply with court orders as part of a plea agreement on charges of public intoxication on June 26th.

Lawler plead guilty to the charges and could have accepted 30 days at an in-patient treatment center instead of 30 days in jail. He didn't report to a treatment center, so he will spend the next month in jail
