New WWE Champion Dave Batista is suffering from a torn triceps muscle. Batista has been carrying the injury for the past three weeks and will be evaluated by doctors tomorrow. If it is determined he needs surgery to repair the injury, he could be out three months

Batista has actually torn the bicep tendon not the tricep muscle as first thought. Generally a tendon tear is worse than a muscle tear. Batista is schedualed to have surgery on the injury today, it is thought he may be out for 3 months however no one knows the severity of Batista's injury until they open him up.

Batista underwent successful surgery earlier today to repair a company torn left biceps. The official WWE website is reporting he will be out for at least four months

This is BS. I heard all that crap last week that Mr. Kennedy getting released for being injury prone. See this guy Batista is milking WWE for everything he can. He wins the World Heavyweight/WWE Championship, then gets injured. It is worse to be winning championships, and then getting sidelined. Who knows WWE just might have done Ken Anderson a favor for letting him go, but only if I was still the WWE Fan I use to be. I was a Batista Fan. I would be mad. It doesn't matter now, because I hardly ever watch WWE anymore. I try to watch it, and get bored really fast. TNA is much better!!!

 why would you keep Batista when hes just as injury prone than Kennedy. IMO Batisa is a bore ad I cant figure out why the WWE loves him so much.

it is a good thing for dave that he is in the inner circle.
anyone catch the tmz photos showing batista having a jolly ol time at the beach?
showing no signs of an actual injury.
it is insane the lenghts the wwe went through to not make this guy look like a joke.
they had him beat orton in a squash cage match
then get "injured" by legacy
only to put the belt back on orton.
i am truly astonish what the wwe will do for this guy

I did see that photo on TMZ and i noticed there was no sign he was injured or anything.
When he first became "injured" There was talk that he wasnt actually injured and he had actually failed a wellness test and the injury was just a cover up so the WWE didnt have to deal with one of the best superstars failing a welness test. And after seeing the photo graph i am actually starting to believe that rumor. I dont like the guy so i wouldnt really mind he he stayed or went. But i agree when people say why the hell do WWE do so much for him?!!?

so if Dave isn't injured and really did fail his test wouldn't it be logical to think that the wwe suspended him for four months as that is the time he is expected to be off?
from the looks of those pictures i would say he is taking the suspension really hard "sarcasm"
looks more like he is on vacation having a good ol time.

Details are sketchy but from what it sounds like the wwe just gave him some time off. They havent suspended him just given him a break to cover up the wellness thats what i can gather anyways

You know what? it's all about politics! if you're well liked in a company such as WWE, then you'll have people kissing your you know what. You will have it made at anything. Your job will be secure. You'll get Vince, and the WWE management making it so your image is protected, while you still get paid.
However, if you're not well liked. Lets say you wont be with the company that much longer. It wont matter who you are, what your abiliities are, and what you can do for the company. There will be very little that can be done, and you're better off working else where.
Now I know where everyone can place someone like Batista, and place someone like Kennedy. People going off on this injury prone crap, well, I wont say what I really want to, but will say that it sounds stupid. It's all about POLITICS!!!!
