There is talk of getting rid of one set of the tag titles. If this happens it will proberly be the world tag team titles currantly held by The Miz and John Morrison, there is also talk of splitting The Miz and Morrison up as a team team.

How about unifying the titles into a Double Cup.

They should unify the titles.....makes more sense. They barely defend the titles anyway and it would give an excuse for the champs to cross all brands as well as run-ins from Raw guys on Smackdown and vice versa to make things a little interesting.

This might sound crazy, but for WWE to do something new (even something TNA will wanna copy) they first should unify both Championships to make the Tag Championships the Undisputed Championship. Here's the crazy part...then they should create a Women's Tag Championship, and put it on ECW.

I agree 100%. I thought it was much better in the very beginning when we had a raw roster and a smackdown roster but the champions could work on both brands!

I say this...Unify all three World Heavyweight titles into a Triple Crown, unify the two World Tag Team titles into a Double Cup, and even unify the two Women's titles, so those champions can wrestle on all three brands. It would give the titles more meaning and consistency.

I agree with Van Halen. Unifying the titles is something i really want to happen. There are way too many titles in the wwe at the moment. I think with less titles theres more possible story lines and like its said they will have more meaning.

You know what? the WWE has been there, and has done this. They merged titles before, but they have brought more in. They even had the IC Championship vacant, and brought it back. The WWE doesn't think about less. They are thinking about more.
I have to believe WWE would get a 4th brand if they actually knew what to do with it. ECW was easy. It already had a Championship created, and they aren't gonna bring WCW back.
I don't see them dropping Championships. Not when TNA has 5 now. WWE is a bigger pro wrestling company than TNA, and they aren't gonna have less than them. WWE even has a June PPV called "Night of Champions"
They might drop one, or two to create a new one, or two, but they aren't gonna go back to one World Championship, and have all Champions appear on all 3 shows. They have more talent than they had in 2002, and back then the scheduling was an issue. If they would do this, they might lose some talent over it.
Try to picture Undertaker, or Shawn Michaels who have a less schedule in their contract being on all 3 shows if they happen to be a Champion. How long you think that will work? To anyone who wants to see this happen, take a good look to why WWE put their Superstars on sepparte shows in the first place. I don't see them going back on it. Not for a long time. Some other things would need to happen first!

Some other things would need to happen first! Well, Desert Rage, I have an answer for you... If Undertaker or Shawn was champion, given their reduced schedule, they could at least alternate which show to appear each week (Example: RAW one week, ECW the next week, SmackDown! the next week, and so on).

Ok..I don't care if both The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels do have, or don't have reduced schedules. I have however looked at from the original draft in 2002 right after WrestleMania 18 there was that time all Champions appeared on both RAW, and SMACKDOWN. I also looked at during that same time from WrestleMania 18 to Summer Slam (in a 5 month period) the Undisputed Championship jumped from Triple H to Hulk Hogan to The Undertaker to The Rock to Brock Lesnar. Then I looked at why they split up the roster putting Superstars on separate shows. They did it for scheduling to give more days off to the Superstars.
I also looked at why after Summer Slam in that year they brought back the World Championship after 9 months into the Undisputed Championship, and why they brought back the Intercontinental Championship after 7 months of it being Vacant. I look at all these things to all of these that I have looked at, and see there is a reason behind everything. There is that reason, and purpose to why WWE has 8 Championships, and why they haven't had all their Champions appear on their 3 shows. One of those reasons currently is in June they have a PPV ment for all the Champions appearing on it, and defending their Championship which is titled "Night of Champions". Who knows how long that PPV purpose is gonna last. They could change their late June PPV to something else in which it would be the 5th time they would do it for that time in June.
I am not in favor of the WWE having 8 Championships, and their Superstars on Separate shows. I liked WWE way back before the purchase of WCW, but time has changed. It will be different. I can deal with how the WWE has things. They will do what makes them the money, and change whatever they want, whenever they want. Who are we to suggest what they should do? All of us might come up with ideas for them to do, but yet we are fans, not an WWE employee who has the stroke to make that decision. As a Fan, we do have that option to love, like, or hate what they have to offer in entertainment. I side with hating it, and see TNA does a better job with entertaining people!

I understand that the chances of less titles and doing away with the brands is very very slim and if it did happen it wont happen for a while, but this is just simply what i would like to happen i know it more than likely wont but i cant help what i want. I just think the WWE was better back when there wernt any brands/the start of the draft when titles holders could switch from show to show.
But i know one thing back to the original story there is serious talk of merging the tag titles so i guess thats something.

When they talk about merging the Tag Titles, I wonder how long that will actually last? If merging them means a Team wins both Championships and walk around like Chris Jericho did 7 years ago with a Championship belt carried on each shoulder, then yeah...I can see how merging them will be. We all know what happened with Chris Jericho carring around 2 Championship belts. At WM18 Triple H won them, and then a new (single) title belt was introduced shortly after. In which went from the Undisputed title to the WWE title.
Now 7 years later, that title belt hasn't been seen in 4 years since John Cena won the WWE Championship, and the WWE has not one World Championship, they have 3.
Can anyone see where this is leading? I have an idea, but time will only tell if I am right on this.

During the Dirt Sheet it was announced that at WM 25, it will be Miz and Morrison vs The Colon Brothers. It will be title for title and there will be unified tag team champions at WrestleMania.
