Victoria has apparently worked her last match with WWE. According to live reports from tonight's SmackDown taping in Omaha, Nebraska, Victoria lost to Michelle McCool in a match that will air on this week's edition of SmackDown. After the bout, Victoria announced that she was finished with WWE.
As far as I know this is not a work as Victoria reportedly gave notice to WWE officials a couple of months ago that she would be retiring from the company. Victoria opened a custom car shop in Louisville, Kentucky last May and is said to be pursuing other career opportunities.

This is a difficult subject to speak on. I don't know what else to say about this other than least it was Victoria's decision to no longer be in the WWE. It is hard for me to deal with right now 7 months after Ashley's departure. Ashley, and Victoria were 2 of my favorite Divas while they were in WWE as they will always continue to be now they are both out. I do wanna forget all about the negative crap about Ashley last year. Dispite how WWE's feelings are towards her. Victoria retiring is a big loss to them. It's up there with them losing Trish, and Lita. I didn't see this 2 years ago, but now I see it. People (including myself) have to face the reality that the Women's division in WWE is completely different. Kinda in a new generation. Now that Trish, Lita, and Victoria have passed the torch. It will be what it is!

I think victoria is a huge loss to the womens division. I think she was never really given the full oppertunity that she deserved

It was different 5 years ago when Victoria last held the Women's Champship. We both can go off about how WWE didn't give Victoria a full opperunity that she deserved, but back then Trish, Lita, Molly, and Jazz was around. You can go on WWE.com on their Titles page, and check out the Women's Championship history from when Victoria first won it in 2002 to when both Trish, and Lita left in 2006 to see an idea of who was in the Women's Division, and who all won the Women's Champion during those years. Of course Victoria didn't get a full opertunity she deserved. If you check out the Women's Championship history it will show Trish who won it like 7 times. Not sure how many time Lita won it, but I can get the hint to why Victoria did retire. It's all about what I said about Trish, and Lita who already past the torch, and Victoria herself (if you read her latest blog) she said "there are lots of other women who would kill to have the chance to make it in the WWE!"
So yes...we both can give our opinion that she didn't get a full opertunity, but that is how the Women's Division was back then. Trish was like a female version of Ric Flair, and I will always remember how many times Victoria wrestled Trish, and how many times I wanted Victoria to whoop her butt with me hating her at the time made it more enjoyable.
Watching the males now. Many can say it's not the same after Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, Goldberg, and Hulk Hogan have moved on. Once Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and the Undertaker retire a lot of people will be saying the WWE is dead. The Women's Division feels like that now with Trish, Lita, and Victoria retired!

The only ones remaining are Mickie James, Nattie Neidhart, and Melina Perez.

I thought she was very good also. She had decent size compared to alot of the stick figure women's wrestlers too.

Victoria is the last of the "name" female Wrestlers to go. And kinda crazy how they all left within the last 2 years. Victoria had a big ego though, so I don't mind seeing her go. We'll see what the new generation can and will do.
I thought Ashley was only taking "some" time off for her kid? And that she'd be back? Your saying she's gone for good?

Ice...I can respond to your post. You should know how the pro wrestling business works. Esspecially the WWE. I can't say I am happy Victoria retired, but I am glad she wasn't released. Ashley was released. Many may think all they want her release was because of the Escort Scandle. Yeah! I have gave out my thoughts about that in recent months, but I can't help myself to give you a website to checkout. www.ardentash.org is an Ashley fansite, and I have to tell you, I hate going on this site, and read the comments to everything new that gets posted. People still to this day can't seem to shut up about news that broke out 8 months ago. If you check it out, and read the comments from the people on there, maybe you will see the answers to you questions, but take it from me...it's all about moving forward. Trish, Lita, Victoria, Ashley, and WWE have all done it. I end this reply by saying....there isn't a "never" in pro wrestling, nor is there a for "good" but if it so happens Ashley comes back, then it will be something both her, and the WWE will have to agree on!

Ashley requested that she be released early from her contract due to her daughter been ill. The wwe didnt just released her from out of no-where. She wanted to be released because she didnt know how long it would take her daughter to recover so thought it would be fair to the wwe and everybody else if they just released her.

Oh, I see, thanks Trish, I understand then, and her kid must of been really sick for Ashley to have to be there everyday and in need of her full attention. A shame the kid's father couldn't of done that though while Ashely wasn't there full-time. Family is important though. And thanks on the link Desert, I'll check it out.
