TNA Wrestling just posted on their official website that Christy Hemme sustained a neck injury and will be unable to compete in her scheduled match against Awesome Kong for the TNA Knockout Women's Championship at Genesis tomorrow night.
According to the TNA website, a replacement for Hemme will be named tomorrow and she will need surgery to repair the injury.

Christy Hemme posted a new blog entry about her injury that will keep her out of tonight's TNA Genesis pay-per-view. Below is the blog in its entirety:
"So yes, it is true and unfortunately not a work... sorry, I really wish it was! I have two herniated disks in my neck. The doctors want me to have surgery right away but I found an alternative solution that could possibly get me back even quicker, woohoo! It is called NCR (neuro cranial realignment). I went to Seattle for a week to basically have rods shoved up my nose and into my head where they blew up a ballon to move my Sphenoid Bone (your temple bone) which apparently alines your entire body. Yeah, it was the weirdest feeling and grossest sounds I have ever felt and heard. My head moving and a lot of crunching... EWWWW! Anyways when all was said and done it made me an inch taller, straightened out my scoliosis and lordosis a ton and even my ears that were pretty crocked lol! My bones will continue to move for another month. The whole point to take all the pressure off those disks to let them heal on their own... come on lil guys heal hehe! To be honest this has been going on a while and I just didn't know what it was, my body would give me as many matches as I needed to get though and then sometimes my neck would completely lock up and I would get numbness in my arms and legs... but I kept going and refused to stop until after a day of some heavy training when AJ "caught" me in some pain and basically told me we wouldn't continue training until I got it checked out (thank you AJ, I can be a bit stubborn and invincible). So I went and got an MRI that revealed the little buggers! I desperately wanted to still wrestle and at least do my match at Genesis. It crushed me to be told no but I know that TNA is protecting me and I plan on having on hell of a career here... so if that means stopping for a millisecond then so be it... cuz Im coming back with more HEMME fire than EVER!! Thank you soooo much for all of your support XOXO, Christy"

As Christy Hemme wrote on her blog over the weekend, she has had problems with her neck quite some time but it was during a training session with AJ Styles that she finally decided to get an MRI and have the problems checked out. This was when it was revealed that she had two herniated discs in her neck and would not be medically cleared to work Genesis. Hemme elected not to have surgery and to try neuro cranial realignment, which could allow her to return to the ring quicker.

I give Christy credit for wanting to wrestle, unlike many of the WWE Divas out there, except Nattie, Victoria, and Mickie.

I wondered where she was at Genesis. It was a good pay per view, especially Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarret. Nothing like a brutal blood bath .

I am not a big fan of Christy. In fact I don't care for her at all. To think she covered Playboy 4 years ago. I didn't think her spread was all that good. Now she wants to wrestle in TNA, and try to beat up someone twice her body weight. Awesome Kong is no Woman to mess with. I have to laugh at Christy getting injuried, while Christy has to count her blessings she didn't get hurt any worse. Since she wants to do this to abuse herself when she don't have to, that is the reason I am laughing at her wrestle, and have this interest in her to beat up Kong to win the Knockout's Championship. If she does happen win it, then it will be a fluke. No offense to anyone who likes her, but she is using poor Judgment to want to do this to herself. She said something about having hell of a career. If she keeps on getting hurt like this, her career will get cut short!

I have to laugh at Christy getting injuried! Getting injured isnt really something you should laugh about, whether you like the person or not. She is as determined as anyone to prove her self, she proved that by wanting to compete in the match it was only because A.J stopped her that she didnt. Yeah she may not be the best wrestler going but shes trying to get better by training. If its what she wants to do then maybe people should cut her some slack because she knows shes not the best but at least shes trying to get better

I thought I explained in that post what I meant by saying "I have to laugh at Christy getting injured" so I guess I have to in this one when I know my last post did explain it. Don't get the wrong impression! I don't like the idea of anyone getting hurt in the wrestling business, but I have to believe WWE didn't want to take the responsibility of someone like Christy getting hurt, so that could be to why they let her go.
Christy then went to TNA to put herself in the position of wanting to continue to be in the wrestling business, and to wrestle. If she had any brains in her, she would had went to something else knowing she don't have to do this to herself. Esspecially after covering Playboy. Again don't get the wrong impression! when she has been in TNA messing with someone twice her body weight. I am sorry, but it does give me something to laugh at if she happens to get injured. Maybe she should think twice about doing this to herself, because as long as she wants to mess with Awesome Kong that is exactly what is gonna happen to her. Take a look at Kong's purpose of being in TNA. Her main purpose being in TNA is to hurt people!

Kong looks pretty stiff in that ring, everyone looks way too small compared to her.
