It was announced yesterday by the administrator of Batista's official discussion forums that Batista has a torn hamstring and will require surgery to repair it. Batista was already not scheduled to work Raw tonight because he was scheduled to have surgery in Washington, D.C. to remove impacted wisdom teeth.
A torn hamstring is a serious injury and is expected to keep Batista out for months. However, according to the official statement, an exact of amount of time cannot be determined until an assessment after the surgery is complete.

Yeah...he can go ahead and spend another 6 months out of action recovering from another injury. I liked him as one of my favorite wrestlers before I stopped watching WWE, but it seems like every time he wins the World Heavyweight Championship he goes down with an injury. Maybe he should take a year off if he's that injury prone!

Not a big fan of his and it does seem that every time he gets the title hes plagued with an injury. Like when he had to vacate the title due to tearing is right tricap against Mark Henry although he did surpass Triple H as the longest reigning champion at 280 days.

The guy is just creepy, don't care for him at all. Just something about him makes me want to turn the channel. Kinda like Mike Knox attacking Rey Mysterio 5 times for no reason, according to him. The WWE just blows, storylines on Raw, more like irritating, really stunk this week. I had to change the channel, I usually do, but this was worse than usual.

I would say Vince McMahon is more creepy than Batista. Here's the Owner of the WWE making up rediculous storylines now to allow him to get off TV. 2 years ago it was him faking his death from that Limo exploding, then last year it was the stage falling on him. If Vince don't want to be on TV for a period of time he don't have to appear. He owns everything including the WWE TV cameras. I wonder what stupid stunt Vince will make up this year to get off TV!
