It is my unfortunate responsibility to report that Leah Maivia, the wife of the late High Chief Peter Maivia, has passed away at the age of 81. Leah was last seen on television last March when High Chief Peter Maivia was inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame. Leah passed away this Sunday, October 19th.
Leah helped run the business-end of her husband's NWA Polynesian Pro Wrestling promotion and assumed the reigns of the promotion after his death in 1982. Leah took pride in the entire professional wrestling industry and was very proud of her family for their accomplishments. Her grandson is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
