WWE have come to the terms of release of Lance Cade. We wish Lance all the best in his future endeavors.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Now this is a shocker to me. Wonder what happened? Didi he ask for it or did WWE just release him (which is stupid after so much TV time given to him lately)

UPDATE:
As reported earlier, Lance Cade, who had been heavily involved in the Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho program, has been released by World Wrestling Entertainment.
Cade was originally trained by Michaels and Rudy Boy Gonzales alongside Bryan Danielson and Brian Kendrick, among others at the now-defunct Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy in San Antonio, Texas. That status as a former Michaels student led to WWE aligning Cade with current World champ Chris Jericho in his feud with Michaels.
Cade's interference helped lead to Shawn Michaels' loss to Jericho in a Ladder Match at the No Mercy PPV. Michaels defeated Cade on Raw, destroying him with a steel chair in what turned out to be Cade's exit from the company on 10/6.
Cade was scheduled for several upcoming house show lineups at the time of his release. The release would theoretically open him up to team with former partner Trevor Murdoch on the independent and international scene.

We have been told that Lance Cade was informed of his release when he arrived at the UPDATE: Honda Center in Anaheim, California for Raw last night. We still do not have the full details on the reasons why he was released but we were told that Cade was not very popular backstage and had a tendency to rub people the wrong way. Cade was written off of television after a job to Shawn Michaels on Raw last week but was still put over on Raw house shows this past weekend.

Heres a blog from good Ole JR, It look like the reason behind the sezuire was due to him taking some kind of substance which he should know is a big no no in the wwe!
Ross wrote the following:
As many of you know, Lance Cade was abruptly released from his contract this week much to the surprise of many of us. I have always thought that Cade had a wealth of physical potential and he was always a polite young man in my dealings with him. Like many fans, I too did my share of arm chair quarterbacking as to why Cade was not featured in a more prominent role on WWE TV programming. However it seemed that in the past several weeks those issues were being addressed even to the point of Cade defeating HBK on a recent Monday Night Raw.
The story that I have read on many internet sites about the reason for Cade's sudden dismissal isn't accurate. Many punhdits speculate that Cade was dismissed because of a bad performance in a recent TV bout against DX on Raw which is absolutely untrue. Lance's dismissal had zero to do with his in ring performances or his lack of ability.
Lance Cade was dismissed from the WWE because, like many humans, he made a major league mistake while utilizing bad judgment that cost him his job. This included Lance having a seizure on an airplane and having to have emergency medial care. Luckily, Lilian Garcia was on the same flight and was instrumental in helping Lance get taken to a hospital where a battery of tests were run that luckily determined that there was nothing seriously wrong with the young man such as a brain tumor, etc.
Everyone makes mistakes, Lord knows I have made plenty in my career, but in this day and time some mistakes just simply can't be condoned. To some fans, Lance Cade will likely still be perceived as the victim in this matter and his punishment too harsh. Under the circomestances of the situation, I don't know what other decision the WWE could have made. I'm just relieved that it wasn't me in my former role that would have had to address this matter. I really like this kid and hope that he continues to follow his dreams. Second chances are not foreign in the wrestling business so perhaps that could be in Lance's future but that's just a personal observation.
Lance Cade is a talented young man whose best days should be ahead of him and I wish him nothing but success. Lance has been knocked down and now it is up to him to get off the canvas and get back in the game. I'm damn sure pulling for him.
Let's hope Lance's peers are paying attention to this situation.

FURTHER UPDATE: We have been told Lance Cade was terminated from WWE because he overdosed on cocaine which caused him to have a seizure on a flight. Jim Ross alluded to the situation in a recent blog post on his official website, however, he did not talk about what exactly Cade did other than he "made a major league mistake".
Lance Cade was said to be not very popular backstage amongst the workers backstage and had a tendency to rub people the wrong way. Most of the people that I spoke with did not act like Cade being released was that big of a deal, especially since he was not over with the audience __________________________________________________________________________ All i can say is wow cocaine! Thats a biggy! The guy is more stupid that i thought what a idiot!
