Shawn Michaels was injured at last night's Raw taping from St. Louis. It appeared Michaels injured his shoulder in the closing segment on Raw while in an altercation with Chris Jericho. Mike Johnson of the PWInsider website is reporting that it is believed to be a torn triceps muscle. The only word that I got was that the injury was believed to be significant.
As of this writing there has been no mention of the injury on the official WWE website as the contract signing for the Jericho vs. Michaels match at Unforgiven is still being promoted.
A torn triceps muscle is a serious injury and would keep Michaels out several months

UPDATE:
The official WWE website has posted an article recognizing Shawn Michaels' left triceps injury he suffered at the conclusion of Sunday's Raw taping in St. Louis, MO.
According to the website, Michaels will undergo further medical evaluation tomorrow, but regardless how severe the injury, he is still expected to take on Chris Jericho this Sunday at Unforgiven

Some good points/idea Desert, but I don't think it's fake. I mean, if it was the WWE's story angle, we would of seen him hurt during the contract signing. But, I watched it last night. Shawn fell over the top rope outside of the ring and landed on his head. Did anybody see or notice that? I really did think he got hurt. So he could of hurt his neck or shoulder. But, tricep their saying? Unless he used his arm to fall on when that happened and it took all the weight. So not sure, or when their saying he hurt it.

I don't believe this crap for a seccond. I don't see how it being true. This sounds more of a storyline injury. RAW wasn't broadcast live this week. It took Lance Cade to come out to supposely injure him. For him to come out it had to been planed for one. Something else makes me believe it's fake. Shawn Michaels is scheduled to make an appearance at the Republic National Convention in Minnesota. To hear about this crap days away from Unforgiven sounds like more of a way for HBK to get out of the match, and if it's true that his injury is fake, why report on a fake injury?

Yeah i saw the fall Iceman looked kinda nasty but he just sorta jumped straight back up which was odd. But heres the latest on the injury:
The official WWE website has posted an update on the condition of Shawn Michaels. They are reporting that after a comprehensive medical evaluation today it was revealed that Michaels only has a small tear in his left triceps and is medically cleared to wrestle Chris Jericho at Unforgiven.
Michaels told the official WWE website: "Before the MRI... my doctor was 99.9 percent sure that I had a full tear of my triceps and that I would experience bruising, swelling and a loss of my range of motion. Through the power of prayer, none of those things happened and I am ready for Unforgiven."
Michaels was injured at Sunday's WWE Raw taping in St. Louis where he caught himself on his hands while falling out of the ring in pursuit of Lance Cade.

The WWE posted pics from the Republican National Convention. By the looks of these pics Shawn Michaels wasn't there when he was scheduled to be. Mr. Kennedy, and Mickie James were, so I have no idea what to believe relating to Shawn's injury.
