I was thinking wether it would be good or bad to have ECW back. Because Bad reasons because there will hardley be any orininal ECW star there, secondly they have been out out-done by psyco CZW. Good reasons! Ecw would be cool to see on TV and live for all the hard core fans! We get to hear Joey Stryles say "Oh my god" in an ECW pay per veiw and it would be cool to the see the shattered tables all over the wrestling ring where they belong!

When ECW starts up again you can bet that there will be a lot of the original faces back on the roster. A lot of the stars say that it was the best time they ever had in wrestling. As for CZW, yes they are crazy and I like them but ECW ALWAYS had a lot more to offer than sick bumps and bleeding. Why is it that people only remember ECW for the hardcore aspect that it contained? Yes it was brutal, but some of the most amazing matches i have ever seen took place in that ECW ring. Go to www.youtube.com and watch the Tajiri/Psychosis match from 2000 and then come back and tell me that ECW was just about the brutality.

I really do think it will be good and a nice addition to have ECW back, sounds like their (Vince) getting really serious about bringing it back and close to the same form, geez, if he's bringing guys (and gals) in like: Balls Mahoney, Sabu, Sandman, and Francine so far, how can it not be close to the original ECW and it's style, so they do have some of the originals aready signed and like Black Tiger said more and more will be signing up soon now I believe too. Well ECW is on a way higher level than CZW, so I wouldn't even compare the 2, and ECW does have some great Wrestling Skills to go along with it's Hardcore action, sure miss ECW, lol. I would definitly rather watch ECW than the WWE now a days. ECW....ECW.....ECW....

If they can get ECW established as a seperate identity than WWE and give it a TV time slot appropriate for it, I can see ECW surviving....for as long as Vince wants it to.

The ONLY way for ECW to be successful is if Vince leaves Paul and co to it. Dont forget what an innovator in wrestling booking Paul was. Who first brought in Benoit, Malenko and Gurrerro and just let them do what they were best at rather than telling them to go out and have a brutal match? Who was the first to bring in the Luchadors and give them the platform to show their skills? Paul did this time and time again (Who in America had even heard of Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka before they came to ECW ?) and his only problem was he was terrible when it came to the money side of things. Rest assured, when ECW does start up again it will only go from strength to strength!

well I think Vince not totally leave ECW alone, year he should give ECW a lump sum of money so that ECW dose not go brankrupt, but thats the only thing that Vince should have to do with ECW!

Not going to happen Cartman. Vince has an investment made and until ECW is financially successful as an independent group from WWE, Vince will have his hand in it.

I have to say yes it'll be good to have it back. Im sure alot of the former ECW wrestlers will eventually work their way back into the roster.

Exactly, but I think as far as the surviving part it will be strong, people are sick of the WWE, look at how well TNA is doing. ECW coming along will draw a lot of fans new and old. Yeah, hopefully Vince will just fund it and that's it, not try to write scripts or make up matches or better yet his stupid story lines or giving people the belts that should have it, example the "Spirit Squad" being the Tag-Team Champs. Heyman is great at it all, except the money part and that's why ECW didn't last, with Vince's money this shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Yeah Vince needs to keep his hands out of ECW and handle the funds as you stated Ice. Paul Heyman is more than competent to run ECW and make it sucessful. If Vince gets involved with storyline ideas it could go down hill quickly.

I, personally, aint very happy about the full-time return... I wasnt too pleased when I first heard about ONS last year in honesty and now this? Can't they just let it rest!? It was a good thing while it lasted, but its dead and should stay dead. Afterall, if you really crave ECW, just watch some old tapes, theres loads out there to keep you busy.
EDIT: If all you think CZW is is ultraviolence, you're very very wrong.
