Dustin Rhodes also known as Black Reign has left TNA Wrestling. Apparently it was a case of creative not having anything for him. His profile has already been removed from the official TNA website

UPDATE:
It looks we've seen the last of Dustin Rhodes, 39, as a full-time performer on national television. TNA removed the profile of his alter ego, Black Reign, from the roster section on the company website earlier in the week, which should confirm his departure from the organization. When you visit his former profile page, for some reason it re-directs to the profile page of TNA Knockout Angelina Love.
Black Reign had been off television for three months and counting, his last appearance taking place on the 4/24 Impact during a tag team title tournament. Rhodes debuted at last year's Victory Road pay-per-view to start a program with "Wildcat" Chris Harris. He debuted his "Black Reign" persona at last August's Hard Justice pay-per-view, losing to Harris via disqualification. Later he was involved with the likes of Abyss and Rellik, participating in a "Monster's Ball" match, a "Shop of Horrors" match, as well as a "Match of 10,000 Tacks" match in subsequent pay-per-views. Reign then entered a program with Frankie "Kaz" Kazarian as well as Eric Young. Reign and Rellik lost to Kaz and Young at the Destination X pay-per-view. He worked a few more shows through April before disappearing.
Around the time of his disappearance, TNA started devoting more television time to the Knockouts, giving them at least two segments per show instead of one because they often scored the highest-rated segments for Impact. Due to the additional Knockouts segment(s), that basically squeezed out fringe characters such as Black Reign and Rellik from getting any television time.
Rhodes was believed to be on a pay-per-appearance deal.

I don't blame TNA, and WWE of not using him after a while. In WWE, he had a "Gayish" gimmick playing as Goldust. In TNA he had a "Freakish" gimmick playing as Black Reign. Maybe, just maybe if he stops with these foolish gimmick, and just be himself he'll be able to last longer on TV. Don't expect to see Dustin back in the WWE as Goldust. It probably wont happen, since WWE turned into a family show. Goldust wouldn't be a good fit on a family show. He might have to settle for that "Christain" gimmick he had about 10 years ago. He came out, and claimed he wanted to save the WWE after DX went through months of going out of control, or something like that. Everyone hated it!

he did appear without the stupid characters. WCW he 'appeared' as seVen and then said in the ring "take a look at this crap they have me in". then the next show he was his normal self. But even that didn't go over.
an idea would be for his father Dusty to try to sort out Cody for about a month, then have Dustin come in (short time) and try to set him straight. its a good Family storyline..

Yeah i think a good family story line would be good, we havent really had a desent family story line in a while, i mean you have katie-lea and paul burchill, and then theres chavo and vickie but none of them are really good family story lines. The more i think about it the more i like the sound of a "Rhodes Family" story line

Okay, just for the record, Dustin happens to be one of the best wrestlers that has ever wrestled. It was not Dustin's idea to be "Goldust" in the WWF, that was Vince McMahon's idea. He was the creative genius behind that. What other wrestler could pull off such a great character as Goldust. I don't doubt for one second that we will not get to see Dustin again cause we will. I hope that he comes out as Dustin, because that's his best character ever. For any of you to judge him, is wrong. you don't know the true Dustin. You apparently haven't seen the heart or the determination that he has for this sport. So he has had some stupid characters, who hasn't? Look at Mick Foley, he's been, cactus jack, mankind and God only knows how many more characters he's been. The stupidest character to date has been doink the clown, but that wasn't Dustin. I can't wait for Dustin to come back, let's hope he comes back either as Dustin or as Goldust. Oh, and for the record, WWE as a family show? NOW THAT'S FUNNY. WWE is not a family show it is a soap opera at night.

Seems we were right about him going back to the WWE... It was announced on raw that Santino Marella will face one of the former Intercontinental Champions at Cyber Sunday later this month: Roddy Piper, Honky Tonk Man or GOLDUST!

I am sorry, but I gotta say this. Anyone who has been with WWE 3 or 4 other times means they aren't really wanted. I believe he was let go the last time he was there. It wont take the WWE long at all to get sick of Goldust, and kick him to the kerb once again. His "Black Reign" gimmick in TNA didn't last long at all, so Dustin Rhodes should take a hint that his stupid gimmicks wont work. He should wrestle as himself like he did in WCW.
