Abyss' return to TNA

TNA taped several vignettes with Abyss at this week's tapings to set up his return. Also, TNA is looking to scale back his reliance on thumbtacks and blood & gore. A few of his peers believe that he relies too frequently on gimmick matches and doesn't have enough confidence in his actual wrestling ability.

I like Abyss alot but tend to agree here hes more of a gimmick wrestler than anything else. But hes really a beast in the ring and fun to watch.

I agree with you Scott and he probably doesn't need the gimmick matches with the thumb tacks to put on a good match.

Presumably he'll return minus mask?

watch the vidz on the tna website, you can clearly see NO mask, I personally think TNA are handling this story very well.

Other then how WWE handled the KANE de-masking storyline.
