The first memory i have involving my man Sabu was Introducing in the Apter Mag THE WRESTLER.I made a mental note to keep an eye on him because being a huge heel mark how can you not like the Shiek.I recieved a tape later that a friend of mine made which showed the Fire match in Japan along with matches vs Lightning Kid and Jerry Lynn.I was hooked as he became my favorite wrestler right then.Luckily for me living in Vegas at the time a promoter named T C Martin brought wrestling to the Silver Nugget casino.A fed made famous by its refence in Mankind the first Foley Book.The now infamous NWC.Now Sabu wasnt thier first champion that distinction was owned by the one and only Tito Santana but he didnt show up the next card and our big suprise was the infamous casino battle of Cactus and Sabu.After the follow up cage match Sabu defended the NWC title against guys like Jim Neidhart and Kama and the most excellent singles match i have ever seen in person a chain match against Terry Funk.I will always love Sabu but as one of his longtime fans i am afraid the man has giving too much for his fans money.I dont want him to batter himself to the point there is no life after wrestling.He has pratically given his life to this sport.

Very true....but Sabu will survive and battle on....he's a warrior...plain & simple.

Any way i reckon now that Sabu signed a contract with wwe they should tie him up with the mask and everything it would be a good laugh!

Wow, nice Sabu Steve, since that's your name I figured you liked Sabu too, lol. But seriously that's really cool how you first got to see him in that promotion and in general some of his early matches. Yeah, I don't know how he has done it for so long either Steve, I guess he has super human powers and his body heals up like Wolverine, because he still always Wrestles at 100%, respect.

Sabu = amazing pain threshold and superhuman abilities. LOL Hes incredible and IMO hes tougher than Foley and thats saying a whole lot.
