Heard that, it's ashame. So young too, was a great player. Remember Puckett, Tony Gwynn, and Wade Boggs playing like it was yesterday. They were all similar players with a great batting average. Wade Boggs was my favorite baseball player ever though, then Cal Ripken.

Baseball IMO was really at a great level back then. Cal Ripken Jr, George Brett, Tony Gwynn, and Ozzie Smith were all greats and there are so many more. I would take any of those guys over todays baseball players.

Lol, how true, and kinda like the great 80s baseball players and 80s Wrestlers that were so much better than todays baseball players and Wrestlers. Are we getting old (27) Scotty or they were simply better that much better? Lol.
Lol, nice pic of Steiner too.

Never knew Kirby wasn't the nicest guy off the field. I thought he was a class act all around but recently heard he didn't treat everybody that nice, especially the ladies, which is ok in my book if he treats them like "Big Poppa Pump", lol. Of course still ashame he died, Kirby was a great talent and fun to watch.
