Holyfield is another once great Boxer that burnt out very badly/quickly at the end. Still looks like he's in perfect shape, but simply can't get it done in the ring the last 4-5 years, kinda weird? I know he's old now, but 5 years ago he wasn't that old and look how old George Foreman was and he was still one of the best Heavyweights. The Boxing Commission was even forced to come in and tell Holyfield to stop boxing, which I think needed to be done.

I was a kid here in Vegas and remember getting dragged by my dad to Caesars to sit at the top of the stands to watch Ali vs. Holmes. I don't remember much of it but after watching it again later, Ali was way too past his prime to keep fighting. After losing an ear and after the beatings starting to lose his mind, I am thankful that he did retire. He's a great guy who hopefully has put this chapter of his life to rest.
