A little advice...

Alright, so Saturday afternoon, my college had what's called the Highlander Challenge. Basically, it's like Survivor, but with teams. Anyway, so my fraternity participated in the challenge, and after it was all over, I ended up hangin' out with one o' my brothers in the frat for a while, just walkin' around campus, checkin' out the Homecoming Festival events. We get to talking about how much it sucks to be single, and I just blurt out, "You know what, we should go out. Let's do somethin' tonight." We go to the movies, and he's all touchy-feely the whole time.

This afternoon, I gave one of the alumni brothers a call, to get her opinion on this situation, and she said that he's usually not that way, unless he's drunk, so he was definitely comin' on to me. So, I called him and invited him over for "No Mercy" tonight. He used to be a wrestling fan, and his roommate is really into it, so he's got a basic understanding of things that are goin' on. Anyway, the whole PPV, he gets all touchy-feely again, and we end up layin' on my couch just watchin' TV.

Question I pose: should I continue seein' this guy, like give him a chance, see if he's serious...or should I just kinda brush him off. I'm way busy as a fifth-year college student, tryin' to get myself straight, I barely have time for school and activities let alone a relationship, I haven't had a boyfriend in almost six years, and the last three guys I've had feelings for just didn't work out. So, you can see why I'm a bit hesitant. What would you suggest?

Well you said "see if he's serious", but it sounds like he is and likes you if he wants to be near you, hold hands, touchy, cuddling, etc. He did want to hangout with you that day/night, and even watched Wrestling with you later, so he's interested in you.

How long have you known him for? If you just met him and am not sure, you can tell him you like him but wanna get to know him more, but remember, you did say, "You know what, we should go out." So it sounds like your interested in him.

So you have to decide if you like him enough to want a relationship with him. Look wise, attitude, mind, body, soul, is he what your looking for or has potential, if the answer is yes then date him, if he doesn't have those qualities your looking for then don't.

Also remember you should never be too busy for possibly meeting the man of your dreams, because once you find him, everything else should fall into place.

Well, my question is, do YOU really like HIM?? If you like him, then I say go for it.

He's in college as well, so he should understand about the pressures of school and whatever, so I don't think that would cause any problems. There is always time for love, you just have to figure out where that time fits in or make time. Don't screw up your future by ignoring your school-work, but don't screw up your future by missing out on the love of your life either. He may not be the love of your life or maybe he is. That's for you to figure out. And of course, as Ice said, you should get to know him more, if you don't already know him well.

What I'm saying is that you don't have to rush into anything by any means, just don't let him slip you by if you are interested.

i sold my restaurant for my girlfriend and then she said she wasn't ready for a commitment like that.....AFTER SHE ASKED ME TO SELL IT SO WE COULD MOVE IN AND START A LIFE TOGETHER. i'm not bitter, and we are still friends and working on ourselves and maybe more eventually. i wish i would have thought about myself more then though
