Ever went on a Date with somebody you met online?

Hmm, well good luck with that, sounds like you really like her, and after only talking to her a few times? Make sure you talk to her more than that if you end up trying to meet her sometime.

Thanks for the advice Iceman. I've been talking to her on a regular basis since my last message and I now know alot more about her and I can tell she's genuine. Of course if I ever did fly to Arizona to meet up with her I would exchange photos and talk on the telephone first. And of course tell my family and everyone first, where I was going and possibly even travel with a friend so if by some chance it did turn out to be bogus we'd have a laugh all the same.

No, I have never went on a date with someone I met online, but I just got asked to go to the movies with this guy I started talking to online a couple of weeks ago. He lives not too far from me, but I don't know much about him since we haven't talked very long. There are a couple of guys I met online and are friends with for a couple of years now that I wouldn't mind meeting and going out with, only they live far away from me...lol

An update for you all. I realised that there's no point looking on the other side of the world (eg Arizona) to find the perfect partner. It came to me that my true love lives round the corner from me and we are now going out again and we have corrected the mistakes of the past.

I actually did meet someone online not too long ago(maybe 8 or 9 months ago) that asked me out...and after being very hesitant for a while I said OK and it actually turned out to be a great time..we continued to see eachother for about 4 months until one day he called and said he slept with his wife (I knew he was married, but separated when we were together) and wanted to go back to his wife and try again :)...go figure, thats my luck :)...anyway, we still talk and are friends and I am actually friends with his wife now too!! :)

Wow, I see, lol. Well cool you gave it a try meeting somebody online. Sounds like you had an experience, lol. Where/how did you meet him online anyway?
