I'm reading "Wrestling at the Chase: The Inside Story of Sam Muchnick and the Legends of Professional Wrestling", which is all about the St. Louis wrestling area. It's an interesting read and features small biographies of Macho Man Randy Savage, 'King Kong' Brody/Brusier Brody, Dick Murdoch, Dick The Brusier amongst others in addition to details on the running of the St Louis promotion and about the wrestlers who worked there. In the later part of the book, the author, Larry Matysik, talks about Vince's take over of the other promotions whilst making his national expansion for the WWF. If you're a long time wrestling fan and/or want to know more about wrestling's past, I would recommend the book as it's very good.
