Any Smaller Promotions you enjoyed watching from the 80's
I used to like ICW which became IWCCW in the early 90's,I believe they had a working relationship with Championship Wrestling from Florida as Kevin Sullivan,Purple Haze and Lex Luger also appeared here when they were working for Florida
Some others I liked were
International Wrestling from Montreal WFWA from Vancouver NWF (a forerunner of Tri-State and later ECW,famous for bringing out Scar Wars tape)
and probably the best of them all WWC from Puerto Rico, many top stars wrestled here in very bloody matches for that era

I liked the last run of ICW with Tony Atlas & Vic Steamboat there. I like CWA, Smoky Mountain, Tri-State & believe it or not...Global. Each had something different than anyone else. Which is what made them interesting.

Quite right mate There actually 2 Global's,Global Wrestling Alliance out of Florida, which was the first wrestling promotion to go on the Stockmarket,we used to get that on TV here in England, also Global Wrestling Federation which started in 1990/91 abd featured X-Pac as Lightning Kid and Buff Bagwell as Handsome Stranger

I liked the GWF although it seemed like a glorified Von Erich show minus the Von Erichs. Who knew Eddie Gilbert could be a major player.

Quite a few actually,CWA Memphis ran the famous angle where Eddie Gilbert tried to run down Jerry Lawler in his car,Gilbert was a great Heel but lacked the size to compete in the major territorys, but was a huge star in the southern promotions

Yeah, the Lawler-Gilbert feuds were great. When the 2 got into the USWA together, Terry Funk & Austin Idol entered the picture. It was quite interesting.
