For the record, it's:
Rhodes Thesz Kiniski
I'd say Thesz myself.

Dusty Rhodes no doubt about it. Especially the AWA promo. Which is a classic!

Ric Flair was the greatest champ ever and never feared any challenger in his way.

My favorite NWA Champ would be Ric Flair followed by Race and Steamboat. The guy could amp up a dead crowd with just the strut. A true ICON of the business.

Lol, how true, Ric Flair was great for so many years and always on top of his game. Flair can even move pretty well now surprising (a lot better than Hogan). He really turned into the "Ironman" of Wrestling.

You can certainly make an argument for alot of the champs like Rhodes, Race, and Thesz. I personally went with Flair because the man knew how to work the crowd and if he wanted to be a heel he could certainly make you dislike him. But at one point he was having trouble with the heel he portrayed because of his popularity noone would boo him and so when your over like that you know youve got something special.

Ric Flair no doubt. He was so entertaining to watch too. "Woooooo". Only if you enjoy watching the same match over and over but with different opponents, wether it be Road Warrior Hawk,Lex Luger,Nikita Koloff, etc This is how the match went,Flair chops and throws punches, his oppent(take your pick here) is unaffected by Flair's offense, shows Flair how muscular he is and then whips Flair into the corner,Flair goes upside down, either gets clotheslined off the apron or thrown off the top rope, same routiene worked for Flair time and time again,Crocketts golden boy indeed incidently I voted Jack Brisco

Flair and Steamboat, Flair and Race, Flair and Rhodes, all good matches and hold their place in NWA history. But this is my opinion as you stated yours and thats what this is all about to talk and debate different wrestlers and matches through the years.

I wasn't at first either back then, but he always put on a show and the 4 Horseman were pretty good at times.

Flair was an amazing entertainer and with the 4 horseman that was icing on the cake they literally ran the NWA/WCW when it come to getting the belts.

It is true that Flair has put on pretty much the same match for the last 20 years aside from a few different spots at times to fit the opponent. But then again, you could make the same argument about Hogan, Rhodes..hell any of the legends who work today. They all know what in-ring formula that works to get the crowd going....and they follow it. Can't argue with success.
