Fabulous Freebirds would have to best the best in World Class. One of the most over heel teams of that time. Could make you love them or hate them and sometimes both at the same time. Their feud with the Von Erichs was excellent. It's too bad we can have that era of wrestling return again.

Big Von Erich fan I see they had some classic matches with the Freebirds, Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams. As well as the single matches with Flair. Sad to see how all but 1 passed at such young ages though.

For those who haven't seen it....check out "The Triumph & The Tragedy: The History of World Class Championship Wrestling" DVD. It is a bit biased from the WWE point of view....including not even mentioning the Midnight Express vs. Fantastics feud that was the main undercard/semi-main event during the Freebirds/Von Erichs feud. Although it does show how the Freebirds/Von Erichs feud got started at the Star Wars show.....it is a good watch!
