Championship Wrestling from Florida

Anybody have any memories of Championship Wrestling from Florida? This Wrestling League was from 1961-1987.

Anybody know the main Wrestling Stars that were there?


I think this seemed like a great Wrestling League with some great stars back then. Unfortunitly I have never saw any of it on video. I wish I would of at least saw the Army of Darkness, they sound like that did some pretty cool/crazy stuff back then with Kevin Sullivan and Woman.

It was great,I have on tape the famous cage match between Bruiser Brody/Lex Luger where Brody no sells Lugers moves and Luger craps his pants.PWF Florida was shown here in England in 1989

I think everyone and their mother's mother has a copy of that tape. And it's funny because only one copy was originally sent out to a Florida referee in exchange for a free night at an Orlando Disney area hotel. Since then, it has been around the world 100 times. Anyone that PM's me, I'll give ya the real story on it.

Lol, nice exchange. Helped Championship Wrestling from Florida grow a bit from it I guess, lol. I never saw that match, geez, lol, never saw CWF. Would buy a DVD if there was one with some of their good stuff. Anybody know of one?
