Who was your favorite NWA Wrestler?NWA sure had a lot of different territories throughout the United States so there were tons of Superstars spread out. NWA World and North American, NWA Mid-Atlantic: Charlotte, North Carolina, NWA Southern: Mississippi and Mid-South, NWA Main Event: Nashville, Tennessee, NWA Canadian, and more. I pick Randy Savage, he held the NWA Mid-American Heavyweight Title 4 times too. Randy Savage Bio: www.angelfire.com/dragon2/iceman07/Bios

-- My all time favorite NWA wrestler is Lou Thesz, with Dan Severn coming in closely behind, but those 3 wern't up there on the list.
So I chose Ted Dibiase - who is actually an unagknowledged former NWA World Heavyweight Champion (Sam Muchnick, RIP the greatest promoter ever, over ruled a decision during a title match between Dibiase & Harley Race in St. Louis back in the mid 70s).
I've loved watching Ted progress from footage back then, up to what I grew up watching in the 80s/90s him in the WWF.

Ric Flair is one of the most entertaining wrestlers of all time. The Flair/Steamboat matches are great matches.

This was a tough one. I could watch Flair, Dusty, Sullivan & Arn until my eyes fell out. And these guys could do an interview! Man, I wish I could get some of these old episodes again.

Well, obviously I am biased.........but theres a reason I am,so i pick Flair.Simply the greatest wrestler I have ever seen. The man is responsible for giving me some of the most entertaining matches and angles of the past 25 or so years.Very honorable mention for NWA superstars go to Dusty,Race,Thesz,Steamboat,Arn Anderson,Tully Blanchard,Magnum TA,and Wahoo McDaniels.

I got to go with my Idol "Superstar" (Or The True Spirit Of America as I belive he called himself back then) Billy Graham.
But a big shout out to 3 other greats of the NWA
"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. (One of the greatest never to be a World Champ)
Tully Blanchard (One of the best Technical Wreslers in my book.)
Nikita Koloff. (Shame he never went to the WWE. I think he'd have been World champion deffinatly IC Champ.)
And of corse hats off to the Icons of the NWA
Ric Flair
Dusty Rhoads
Roddy Piper
Harley Race

With the mind-boggling omission of Lou Thesz from this poll, I guess Harley Race.

Ric Flair was my favorite through the 80s and still like him today. Seen him in a couple big matches live and was hooked on his style. I saw him wrestle Dusty in Greensboro when he lost the belt in the cage and I saw him defeat a monster Nikita Koloff 2 great matches and made me a flair fan 4 ever. I also liked Harley Race, Roddy Piper, Greg Valentine and Adrian Street.
