Slapshot was definitely great and comes to mind first. Hoosiers was great. Of course White Man Can't Jump was great and funny, even after 4-5 times, lol. Actually same goes with Major League no doubt. Oh, and the obvious, the Rocky movies were tight. Hmm, Kingpin wasn't bad either. They really made a lot of great sports movies now that I think about it, lol.

nobody has mentioned the greatest sports movie of all time yet.
caddyshack
a classic. as funny, if not funnier today. it is funny the 100th time you watch it.
all the great comedians of that era are in it.

I am absolutely shocked 2 of the all time great classic sports movies has not been named.
"The Natural" "Field of Dreams"
Hands down the 2 best baseball movies ever made.
