Now this was classic TV. Chuck Barris was from Philly, of course and created the concept from the old amateur hour and similar shows on TV years before. So many great memories. I used to plan my courses at Temple around the daily show which aired at 1pm. Any memories?

I loved that show! Pee Wee Herman was on it a few times as a contestant. I have an old 7 inch record that has Gene Gene the Dancin' Machine's theme song on it!

I have a picture of my idol, Gene, on top of my computer.
He was actually a stagehand that Chuckie Baby promoted

Geez, haven't seen that show in say, hmm...10, 15 years maybe? Might be pretty cool/funny to see it again now though, lol.
