The best band out there is a band from Orange Co., California named Throwdown. They are a Hardcore/Heavy MNetal band that I want to follow in their footsteps. Check out their new Cd "Vendetta". It's sic.

Cobain was as good as some other musicians that have died unexpectadly he doesnt deserve the credit he gets

My respect for him doesn't come out of the fact that he's dead. It comes out of his originality. His... I can't even describe it. He was a good musician, but not the best. That's not what get's me about Cobain. He was an amazing lyricist. He was... real. Seriously. More real and upfront than anyone else. He wasn't afraid to hide anything and when he sang you could hear the emotion in his voice... see it on his face. He was unlike anyone else. There will never be another Nirvana. And there will never be another Kurt Cobain.

Your write he wasnt the best muscian wasnt even very good I know for a fact he only ever knew 2 chords. Ive heard plenty of other people write better songs than Cobain and alot more songs that have made me feel more emotional. Hell ive even done it. Im not saying dont respect him though I just feel liek there are better ones out there like Dimebag, Hendrix, Stayley. But if you want to respect him then go for it

I'm all for those guys too. But I give just as much respect to Cobain. And he couldn't have been all that bad to be considered one of the most influential musicians of all time. They still play his songs today. If he flat out sucked, nobody would care.
But that's your opinion and this is mine.

Im not saying hes bad it just annoys me sometimes that eveyrone goes on about all the time and he gets days dedicated to him etc etc when all those other musciains barely get a mention. The time I sore a hendrix song on TV was on some car advert
