Yeah, know what you men, mine changes almost daily. At the moment, it's a toss up between Rage Against The Machine, and Dropkick Murphys.

Yeah, I've heard a few Flogging Molly songs, just bits here and there. Not really enough to consider myself a fan of them.

I have too many. I will say my old school favorites were the Beastie Boys and House of Pain (Irish Pride) though. But I will comment on Rage since it was mentioned. They actually used to be one of my favorite groups back in the day. I loved their first 2 CDs, but after that not at all, their music wasn't as good and their preaching/beliefs were out of control and wrong in my opinion (probably led to their downfall too). But the first CD will always be a force no doubt.

Just while I'm thinking about it, Tom Morello from the band Audioslave was Rage Against The Machine's bassist or something along those lines. I just thought that was pretty cool. He's pretty cool, so yeah...

I guess they all got sick of all the preaching of wrong beliefs that Rage's front man was doing so they left? He did have a real good sounding voice in their songs though. Does Audioslave sound anything like the old Rage since most of them are from there?

They sound like both Rage & Sound garden but alot more tame and sedate im not a big fan of theirs I like dtheir first single thats about it. They do do a bit of preaching like Cochise is about the way americans treated north americans when the pilgimes came over and the such but they also just sing about songs that they want to sing about there alright fi your into that sort fo stuff but if your not then dont bother. And if you think that they would do a kick arse cover of a Rage song dont the singer cant do it very well lol

And on the subject of Rage spliting I dont know the answer for sure but I wouldnt imagine it would be for the preaching. Bottom line is if they didnt believe in what the songs where saying they wouldnt have done them in the first place there has been lots of politcal bands in the past and I dont think any of them ahve split up for the fact they are getting their message across plus im sure the singer has more to his personality other than griping about the world. It was probably for another reasons
