Anybody up here watch soap operas? I watched NBC's "Days of Our Lives" when I was a teenager, then I got older and moved on to ABC. I watched "All My Children", "One Life to Live", and "General Hospital" on and off during high school (on during summer, off during the year). I get hooked on them so easily. Maybe it's because I'm female, maybe it's because I'm a wrestling fan. Right now, I'm back into my "General Hospital" phase. So...am I alone on this board, or does anybody else also enjoy the drama these soaps provide? Even if you're a guy, don't be embarrased to say you do watch.  |

Hmm...you want a guy to admitt he watches Soap Operas? That's tough, lol. Well I'll say this, Sonny and Brenda from General Hospital were/are pretty cool. Actually my friend's sister worked/works on Brenda (Vanessa Marcil's) website and gave me an autographed 8x10 of her. Sonny's Italian like me and Brenda is beautiful so I'm down with both of them. |

LOL Yeah, Vanessa Marcil was awesome on General Hospital. Once she and Sonny broke up, I stopped watching it regularly, 'cuz I was heartbroken. It took me a while to start likin' Carly, and then they recently changed actresses for that character, and broke up her and Sonny, so I was stressed over that. Nowadays, though, General Hospital is GREAT. I can totally see how wrestling can be compared to soap operas now.  |

venessa marcil is smoking, but i stick with days. it has the best "talent" overall. and the storyline is so ridiculous its great

Being from the UK I know of but have not seen any of those Soaps.
I do however watch British shop Corrination Street.
and when it use to be on at a resonable time
Australina Hopsital soap
Shortland Street.

Kinda funny... most guys I know wouldn't openly admit to watching soap operas. Nothing wrong with them in my opinion. I don't watch them or anything though, but my mom watches Days of Our Lives.
It just strikes me as comical. Okay that was a stupid sounding statement, but ya get what I mean. I hope, lol.
