I've been a fan for 13 years total now, and I've seen a lotta things from all three brands (WWE, WCW, and ECW). What's your favorite WCW memory?
I've got a few...
1.) Hulk Hogan bein' attacked at Clash of the Champions (1994) This was about eight months after the whole Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding fiasco. I was a big figure skating fan back then. Anywho, Hogan comes out, and all of a sudden, somebody dressed in all black comes out behind him and hits him in the knee with a police baton! I was like, "OMG, that happened in real life! That's so wrong!" A cousin o' mine was watchin' with me and said, "If he busts out with 'My knee! Why! Why!!!!!!', I'm gonna LMAO!" One of my more prominent earlier WCW memories
2.) Kevin Nash longdarting Rey Mysterio, Jr. This was in the probably the height of the nWo, and there was just crazy panic goin' on that night. Nash goes out to the back (I think they were in Orlando, at Universal Studios), and Rey stands up on the railing of a trailer and launches himself at Kevin. "Big Sexy" catches the little dude, and literally longdarts him into the side of the trailor!!! I busted out laughing!!!! I felt so bad for Rey, but I'm like, "Come on! You're 5'4, 180 lbs. soaking wet, and you're gonna jump at a seven-footer?! You deserved that!!!"
3.) Ric Flair returning with the Horsemen *tear* Flair is so great, and he had been gone from WCW television for so long. It was an emotional night, and I was just glad to see the "Nature Boy" back once again.

I'll say my Favorite Wrestlers/Things:
Macho, Macho, Macho Madness, Team Madness: Sid Vicious, Gorgeous George, Ms. Madness (Molly Holly), and Madusa.
Scott Hall: Hey Yo.
NWO 4 Life.
the "Cat": 3 Time Champ and Friend of James Brown, nuff said.
Big Poppa Pump and Midjah.

One memorry that realy sticks out for me is the Retrun in 2001 of Dusty Rhodes.
The match had been Dusty Rhodes vs Jeff Jarrett only what came out was someone (Ric Flair) dressed as The Dream in a Fat suit and a Rubber mask that looked like to quote Scott Hudson
They then proceded to have dilibretly crapy match desiend to hummiliate Dusty's legeacy and Jerrett pins "Dusty" with his own Bionic Elbow Drop and then attempts to have the Dream kiss his Ass.
Only Dustin Rhodes comes out and start beating the crap out of Jarrett untill Flair rips of the mask and interceds with a low blow. Jarrett gose and gets a steel chair and starts trying to injure Dustin.
But after the 3rd chair shot the Dreams theam song plays
"He's The Amerrrricaannnn Dreammmmmmmmmmmm"
Classic reaction from Flair standing them dumd struck as Dusty walks down the aile and throws his cowboy hat at Flair who tries to get to him but is prevented by the fat suit and instead recives a Bionic Elbow.
Jarrett rushs Dusty and is aslo drope with the Elbow. Flair gets up only to be knocked down with a knife edge chop. While the grogy Chosen One walks right into a Flip Flop and Fly chop by the dream which sends him outside the ring.
Dusty then picks up the fallen Flair and delivers a strait right to the nose droping The Nature Boy.
This alll lead to a passable Tag match at Greed.

Woooo!!! I like when they do parodies/skits like that of Wrestlers. Heard and really wanted to see when the NWO did the 4 Horseman. Heard it was great with Arn Anderson (Scott Hall) looking really old and bald carrying a cooler filled with beer, lol. I even looked online for the video clip but had no luck. Anybody have it or know where to watch it? Lol. Heard Scott Hall, Nash, and others did this on their own without WCW knowing. Heard backstage Flair and others were going crazy and were pissed off and wanted to go out there and kill them for doing it.

Lol slight corection it was Nash as Double A.
(I think Hall was on one of his sabaticals from WCW at that time)
They did it with WCW Knowlage just Eric didn't think it nesercery to informe The Horsemen they were about to be Parodied, let alone that the nWo were going to make fun of Arn's legitamate retierment speech.
So Mean Gean (also in the dark) announces the Four Horsemen.
and out comes
Syxx (Sean "X-pac" Waltman) as Ric Flair
Konnan as Steve McMichales (carrying a deflated Football it looked like to me)
(I can't remmember who did Benoit)
They then called out Curt "Buff Bagwell" Henning
and then Kevin Nash came out in Arn Anderon get up with the cooler.

I vaguely remember this, and thinkin' it was absolutely hilarious. Question: was this before/after DX started doin' their parodies? And I could understand how Ric/Arn would be pissed at not knowing about the parody.

A few that stick out in my mind -
Mike Awesome powerbombing Shaggy 2 Dope on top of the "That 70's Guy's" school bus, and Shaggy sliding off the side of it, crashing to the floor.
"Screamin'" Norman Smiley. He sounded like a scared woman. Fantastic wrestler, always good for a laugh.
The Benoit/Sullivan feud. I remember when Sullivan was lying in the ring, holding the ring bell. Benoit came off the top rope with the diving head butt. Sullivan holds up the bell which connected with Benoit's head. It was the "ping" sound that made me laugh myself sick. It was like watching a very violent 3 Stooges match.
One word- RALPHUS! The guy never spoke, but he'd always make me laugh.

My favorite storyline is Ric Flair put into a mental hospital. By his own son David&Rowdy Roddy Piper!

LOL...ping...LOL...reading about it makes it funny. But seriously, the Benoit/Sullivan feud is one o' the reasons I ever started really likin' WCW. Man, the hatred ran deep... I concur!

My favorite storyline is Ric Flair put into a mental hospital. By his own son David&Rowdy Roddy Piper! Lol, yeah, Ric Flair did some funny stuff with that. He kept wearing his robe there and from time to time would get flashbacks and bust out saying, "Woooo, I'm the Nature Boy" and start shaking his body and doing his little dance, lol, the other inmates would get crazy with him. Great stuff, wish I had some of that on tape. But here's a picture I have of it which is on my main site as well.

Norman Smiley and Ralphus were great, especially when Smiley used to try and train him, lol, great stuff. Mike Awesome was funny too when he was that 70s guy. I think for a little bit they kept making him attracted to how do I say "slightly heavier girls", lol, funny stuff. He had his little show or skit too with a couch for interviews a few times I remember which was good.

I liked the
"That 70's Guy" Gimmick. It reminded me of Dude Love.
WWE should have re-started that gimmick when they brought in Mike Awesome I think it would have got over with WWE Fans better then his bland "I'm a Hardcore Brawler former ECW Champ" persona did.

Yeah, Mike Awesome was definitely more entertaining in WCW than he ever was in WWE. I didn't get to see him much in ECW, so maybe that's why his WWE persona didn't really appeal to me. *edit* Didn't he used to call himself the "Fat Chick Thriller" or somethin' like that? */edit*
