What are your favorite Bobby Heenan memories?
Bobby's Debut in the WWF: Big John Studd was the first WWF Wrestler Bobby Heenan managed, this was in 1984. Bobby Heenan was originally brought into the WWF to manage Jesse the "Body" Ventura, but he suffered an injury so Vince McMahon gave Heenan Big John Studd instead. Studd was originally managed by "Classie" Freddie Blassie.
Would of been neat to see Bobby manage Jesse Ventura, those 2 have some great lines and would of made a great team, in and out of the ring. They could of formed some of the best scenes/skits too. Maybe even throw Roddy Piper in the mix and you would of had a great tag-team, maybe one of the best ever, who knows.
Big John Studd and Heenan won their first match together, and it was against Hulk Hogan (Title), great way for the "Brain" to start out. Heenan threw Studd back into the ring just before a 10 count and Studd won the match by Hogan being counted out. The Title couldn't change hands that way though.

His commentary was hilarious. Even when he was on his way out.

I met him at an autograph signing once and there was a little boy in front of me who obviously didn't know who he was and was annoyed his parents were dragging him to see the Brain.
After he signed an 8x10, his parents kept saying to the boy "What do you say? What do you say?" before the boy issued a forced "Thank You."
Unphased, Heenan simply said "If you can't be bright, be polite." I still love that line.

I remember the "Brain" had this one skit where he was selling Hot Wings (extra hot), well actually they were free. Good deal right? Well he sold them to a Wrestler (forget who he was), the Wings were so hot the Wrestler had to have something to drink, anything, water, the Wrestler was dying. Here's where the "Brain" came in, he said the Wings are free, but Water is $20. Bobby made the sale and got $20 for a small glass of water, lol.

Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon were probably at their best at Wrestlemania 8. They were great the whole time.

Yeah, I think Bobby Heenan and Jesse Ventura had the best one liners in Wrestling. If either of them were having anything to do with a match, verbally or physically you knew it would be a good time.

I loved Heenan & Monsoon's commentating. It was like listening to an old vaudville act. I would crack up every time Monsoon would say "Would you stop!"

I almost forgot about the very short lived "Bobby Heenan Show" that aired instead of Tuesday Night Titans for a few times. He'd introduce the Rizzotti (sorry about the spelling) sisters (2 very large WWF fans) as "the Rhea sisters, Gonna and Dia".
That man could give Don Rickels a run for his money.

My buddy had met him at the Wrestle Reunion in Florida. My buddy had a fanny pack on... Heenan whispers in his ear.. "you want to get some chicks? Turn that around and stuff it in your pants. " ;D
