OLDSCHOOL Wrestling Theme Music Questions & Trivia

I am a newbie to wrestling boards. I don't know if this is the best place to ask this question. If not, it would be appreciated if someone could tell me a better place to go to discuss wrestling theme music. But I would like help on a few things.

1. Was Sting's theme music for a stint "Holding Out for A Hero" by Bonnie Tyler?

2. IMPORTANT!!! What years (roughly) did Terry Funk use Man With A Harmonica by Ennio Morricone as his theme music? And LAst Dane With Mary Jane by Tom Petty?

3. UBER OBSCURE! Does anyone know the name and the artist of the 70s disco song used for Harley Races theme music in Japan? This was around when he fought Abdullah over there for the first time.

Any help would be so appreciated.

I posted this on the Obsessed With Wrestling forums and I got alot of wise ass answers over there. This is for me personally, not for some trivia game or other thing. I am making a mix album of old wrestling themes from the 70s-80s.

First off mate, you posted in the right place. And not to worry, we aren't about to laugh you off, question your legitimacy, or give any wise-ass answers. We're a friendly bunch.

As for the actual questions, myself, I have no idea, a bit before my time, but I could try and look it up for you. Perhaps some of our older members could help. Hope to see you here more often.

Geez Giant Baba, your really going back a bit and with some tough questions too, lol. Sorry I don't have any of the answers for you. To tell you the truth I was never that big on the theme songs and definitly never paid attention to who really sang them, sorry.

I don't think Sting ever used Bonnie Tyler. My father was at a Bill Watts UWF show and he used Helter Skelter by Motley Crue for that show. I don't know the others but can ask around. Been looking for the Road Warriors NWA theme somewhere (the Iron Man cover that is perhaps the best theme music ever!).

Yeah, good call Alpha, lol, the Iron Man Road Warriors theme was tight and powerful just the the Road Warriors. Almost forgot about their theme.
