Lol, I was just looking at my main site icemanswrestling.co.nr and looking at all the classic pictures from years past: WWF, WCW, and ECW, wow, those were really some great days. What happened to Wrestling? That stuff was so good back then and so many great Wrestlers, Managers, and Woman of Wrestling. If you never saw my main site check it out and look at the pictures on it of the great days, you'll see what I mean, makes me almost wanna cry , lol. Sign my guest book on there too if you never did. well, personally I think it's the internet, and all the spoilers. There are no surprises anymore. People will read what happened during the matches, and their expectations are higher, than what really happened. Everyone needs to know RIGHT NOW, and have a very little attention span anymore. Just my .02 worth.

Just my .02 worth. I hear what your saying BWO. But I have never checked the internet or spoilers to see what will/would happen in matches and events. I simply just watch it, and think for the most part it simply isn't that good, and no where close to where it used to be. Also since WCW got bought out and closed down (Merger), it has went downhill 100% in my opinion, wrestler wise, and storyline wise.

What happened to wrestling? heres my opinion back then there were many promotions it was competative...now theres really only the WWE and TNA but according to WWE TNA arent really a threat so what happened to wrestling is its ONLY WWE and thats basically it! They over took every other promotion NOW wrestling seems to be predictable...in almost every match and apperantly wwe is going back to mini porno clips...boring...personally im starting to like TNA alot more cos they have more action and less talk!

Wrestling needs a new promotion. u could have a big european promotion that could rival wwe. or a canadian promotion heel the best 'wrestlers' are from canada and u.k.

Yeah, your all right, with no competition the WWE doesn't have to try as hard to get the best Wrestlers or write the best scripts because they know fans will watch the WWE no matter what because it's the only thing out there. When ECW and WCW were around Wrestling was so much better, and actually I watched them and never WWE. I am starting to like TNA more too. I think the signing of Sting (Thread in TNA Folder) should help bring them to higher levels too, hopefully.

Wrestling needs a new promotion. u could have a big european promotion that could rival wwe. or a canadian promotion heel the best 'wrestlers' are from canada and u.k. Well, as for the 'big European promotion', I'd say try and track the progress of 1PW, a fairly new Doncaster, England, based promotion which has such names as Samoa Joe, Masato Tanaka, Raven, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jeff Jarrett, Sabu, Charlie Haas and loads more! Check out their website at www.1p-w.comGoing back to the basic foundation of the thread, I think wrestling went downhill with the ECW and WCW buyouts from Vince McMahon. Thereon, wrestling became a 1 horse race, and you need at least 2 big promotions to function properly. Competition makes creativity, and without competition, WWE Creative has gotten lazy. I say we all throw our suport behind TNA to try and get them into a profit, and with our support, they could get a better timeslot and really challenge WWE, and hopefully light a fire under Vinnie Mac and get him to produce some real fine TV. It's win-win for us if this happens, because even we do this, and WWE doesn't unleash a Creative fury of great TV, then at least we have a great alternative.
