Who was the best WWF Intercontinental Champion (1980-1990)?
I actually liked the Honky Tonk Man as the Intercontinental Champion the most, they were all great champions though, I liked seeming all of them as the champ at different times, except Tito Santana of course.

Out of the ones from the above, i would say Mr.Perfect. I enjoyed his wrestling style and matches and i thought that he was a top-notch Intercontinental Champion!!

Mr Perfect, beyond a shadow of a doubt but Piper would push him close.

Mr Perfect, beyond a shadow of a doubt but Piper would push him close. I voted for Ricky Steamboat specifically for his match with Randy Savage where he took the IC belt at Wrestlemania 3. Mr.Perfect was a very good champion but as for Piper? Jeez he held it for a couple of months and didn't defend it that often before he lost it!

Yeah, no doubt Steamboat and Macho Man had some great matches.

I'd say Ultimate Warrior. He was always cool. His match against the Hulkster at WrestleMania has to be one of my favorites! Ricky Steamboat was always one of the best too, no matter what you’re talking about. If it was Steamboat and it was wrestling, it was great.

I actually read a quote from ricky steamboat saying he never really like his matches with Savage as he had to 'lead him' through each match every night and steamboat preferred to do things 'off the cuff'.

Out of those, Mr Perfect, but of all time, it has to be The Hitman.

Steamboat was a great wrestler but he never had any stellar defenses nor did he hold the belt for a significant period of time. HTM drew an immense amount of heat and spent a ton of time having the crowds dying to see him get beat. I pick Honky

I always liked Muraco. Muraco and Steamboat had some great matches too. Muraco and Mr.Fuji were a pretty good team together. Watch out for Fuji's cane, lol.

As the only person on this list, to hold the Intercontinental belt and the Heavyweight belt at the same time, it's gotta be the Ultimate Warrior...he never lost the Intercontinental belt, they took it away!

Ravishing Rick Rude Especially since no one expect him to win it.
