Yes Iceman, Goldberg , the real big bad bald guy called out the loud mouth trash talking Stone Cold. Goldberg even went on Howard Stern to speak about it. He said he was tired of Stone Cold and WWF talking trash and busting on his character. aparently the were saying he wasn't tuff and was a copy cat of Stone Cold. But what they didn't know was Goldberg is very into MMA (mixed martial arts), and a huge fan of UFC, K-1, ect... He even was going to enter a UFC (ultimate Fighting) tournament but due to WCW contract, WCW would not allow him to fight. But back to the point, Goldberg went on the Stern show and challenged Stone Cold to a real wrestling match, also he offered to put up $100,000.00 of his own money and asked Stone Cold to do the same. He said the if he won he would donate his money to some charity, adn Stone Cold could do what ever he wanted with it if he won. But like the big man Stone Cold is he tried to play it off and refused the offer. I guess that cheap diamond cutter and his two other moves would help him to much. And I can guarantee he would have done the same if Stiener (either one) would have challenged him too.

Well Bruiser you backed up our point, and made Stone cold look even worse. You say all Stiener did was punch and suplex his way through matches? Isn't that all Stone cold crap did, and he didn't even do it as well. Plus you must be a little younger and not remember the Stieners of the past. They were as bad as they came in and out of the ring (real life is what I'm talking about). They were not posers like Stone Cold who backed down from people like Goldberg. It was nice how Stone cold talked all that trash, but then shut up when Goldberg challenged him on the air when he was on Howard Stern. He must have felt pretty tough when the largest audience in the world heard him try to duck around a real match. I'm 27 years of age so I do remember the Steiners very well, I recall all the hoo-hah when they signed for the WWF for their initial run in the 90's and being very excited about seeing them on a regular basis and after doing so, wishing they'd bring the LOD back. Who, for the record I feel are the greatest team of all-time. I don't mean to be argumentative or offensive toward you but theres no way scott steiner was a more exciting in-ring personality/talent than stone cold. I just can't buy into that

Road Warriors were the toughest tag-team to date, that's true. Animal was always huge too throughout the years, as a tag-team they were unstoppable. They were great to watch too.
I will say this, Stone Cold and the Rock (who I like) definitly carried WWE for those years, even made WWE worth watching then and had some good/funny lines and skits. The WWE could sure use either of them now.

2 more points...
Stone Cold was a big fish in a little pond over in WWE, there was him and the Roc, pretty much no big names or competition back then. Now over in WCW those days there were tons of competition and so many superstars. Goldberg and Steiner were so much more powerful than Steve the "Belly" Austin. If Scott Steiner was over in WWE that time he would of done just as good as Stone Cold and probably better. Even on his mic skills and trash talking alone.
Simply put Stone Cold was at the right place at the right time, pure luck, look what Stone Cold did when he was in ECW or WCW his first run as a Surfer, lol, nothing much.

Steiner would pop Austins head like an egg. Big Poppa Pump was a incredible wrestler with amazing strength. Austin may have been the rattlesnake but Steiner wouldve destroyed him.

Lol, nice Scottingraham, your a newer member and I like the way you think on a lot of your posts here and agree with most of them. This being a perfect example. Big Poppa Pump, "Holla if ya hear me", "Where's all my freaks at".

Big Poppa Pump or Stone Cold. If memory serves correct, the whole glass shatters- independent SOB deal was Diesel right after he lost the title to Bret Hart. As to who did what first...who cares! Steiner was in WCW and in Bischoff's rear, Austin was in Vince's rear. Each had their own deal in a different federation. Steiner had to deal with Goldberg, but had the NWO to back him up. Austin really didn't have a foil to rival him, but did have the best heel in a long time (Mr. McMahon). I like Austin over Steiner for the simple fact that when it came time for the big time matches, Austin produced on the big stage...Scott either couldn't or wouldn't. Either because of his inability to perform or WCW's inability to promote or create a big event.
