then everyone here,or i'm just more knowledgeable...first of all, HHH? lest we forget who he is married too.2.
FLAIR SHOULD BE EVERYONES NUMBER ONE..PEriod..3.THE AWA IS GREATLY MISREPRESENTED HERE 4. WHATS WITH ALL the steamboat love? i know he had a nasty armdrag, but really, what else did he have? here we go..
1. FLAIR,HANDS DOWN,,,carried steamboat,,and everyone else for that matter with his revolutionary fall on face, turnbuckle upheaval off a whip, climb turnbuckle get tossed off,and struttin stylin profilin intervies.
2. jesse the body ventura,,disgustingly retardly insane, tore the roof off brown county veterans memorial arena in green bay every time.loved it when the crusher whipped him to rope, and caught his throat with corner tag rope(one of them untied it)and hocked a loogie at least twenty feet on impact directly into stunned womans face,,that is old school, and thats what she got for sittin in front row.
3. jerry blackwell,,noone ,and i mean noone expected him to upset daddys boy greg gagme(spelled purposely)on all star wrestling in his debut.speakin of spit,i saw him confront a heckler face to face, spit straight in his face, and tell him,""u even think of spittin back i'll kick ur sexy timein ass right here"...same night,mr saito followed different punk who threw beer on him into standds, and hit him with some round kick.blackwell had that rare ability to make u absolutely hate him,,then love him when he went after sheik adnaan,el kaisey.or..
4...was it sheik kasey's ability to be so dam hated, from wwf tag team champ billy whitewolf,to despised sheik, the first time i was in shock from wrestling was when he sliced tito santanas forehead open in interview, wrestling needs to get back to real like, instead of straight up admitting its a joke..u got that vince?
5. paul e dangerously,,not because he managed awa tag team champions, but how he has stayed true to the bizness.i think the only 3 true old schoolers left is flair, heyman.and good ole jr.
6. THE ROOOOOOOAD WARRRRRIORS...OOOOO WHAT A RUSH,,,for anyone here to omit this team from any top ten list,,u are retardedly challenged in terms of wrestling knowledge 101 son..RIP HAWK.
I COULD GO ON AND ON,BUT I JUST WANT A LITTLE MORE RESPECT FOR THE AWA,.i'll leave with these names.piper, abdulla, bruiser brody, andre, jyd,ps hayesand gordy,,,who gives a crap about buddy roberts, dynamite kid(snap suplex still looks like a violation of physics) FUNNIEST INTERVIEW,,OK,ITS THE ROCK,BUT THAT DON'T MAKE HIM A TOP 50 ''WRESTLER'' wahooo mcdaniel, doom(simmons and reed), PS vince needs to sign me,i have everything it takes to be an announcer/performer/wrestler who can take some bumps.since i was 4 years old i felt it was my destiny to be in the biz, just circomestances didnt work out that way, livin in the midwest and all.but i just need one shot, and i'd be the announcer raw and or smackdown needs for the next 50 years,i respect the authenticity gordon solie brought, along with the sensationalism jr brings,as well as gorilla's technical abilities, combined with jesse the body's ""keep it fair, call it as you see it""approach,,i am the whole package,,outs ya'all

Yeah, Ricky Steamboat only had an Arm Drag, but once I did seem him jump off the Top Turn Buckle onto his opponent rather high, oh, and he had a good match or 2 against Randy Savage I believe too, I think he knew Karate too and brought that in the ring at times, lol. Lol, your funny Scupted Stud, I can tell you have a good sense of humor, I like that, lol.
That is cool that you give the AWA respect, those were some great days indeed and the Wrestlers in it.
But you have to remember their are members here of all ages, example the newer fans like Triple H, and the older fans like Hogan or Ric Flair. You cann't be mad because some people simply enjoyed watching a certain Wrestler, lol. I mean how many people would agree with you that "jerry blackwell" was the 3rd best Wrestler ever (since he's on your list)? Lol. I liked watching the Junk Yard Dog more for example, lol. Good pick with Jesse Ventura though on your list, he was great inside and outside the ring, he deserves more respect for what he did for the sport.
"wrestling needs to get back to real, instead of straight up admitting its a joke" Yeah, I agree with that and wish they would, but Vince likes the Cirus act a lot I think.

I agree Ice some people didnt grow up watching the old AWA, NWA, and WCCW matches and that should be realized before you start in on a person who's kinda new or got into it with Triple H and the other newer wrestlers. AWA was a good promotion but not everybody watched it. Flair I agree was a great in his time but this is a new era and the names have changed and wrestlers like Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton, and so many more are the big names now.

True Scotty, it's simply what you grew up watching in whatever era, but the 80s were the best, lol.
Yup, your right Old Schooler. Strong Top 3 you have too by the way, wish I saw more of Adrian Street, actually only saw 2 matches (one with Savage) he was in and a few of his music videos. He seemed pretty entertaining and that he could put on a show. Cool you had George Steele in the mix too.
Decent mix you have to Cmac. Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Savage, Nikita, and Jake Roberts I all I liked to watch.

1) Hulk Hogan, 2) Stone Cold Steve Austin, 3) Randy Savage, 4) Roddy Piper, 5) Shawn Michaels, 6) Ric Flair, 7) Ricky Steamboat, 8) Andre The Giant, 9) The Rock, 10) Road Warriors
Okay I know everyone will wonder why I have Hogan at #1 and #2. They really built the wrestling business up to where it is today plus being a fan way back in the 80's Hulk Hogan was on all the time. Austin really made the WWF/E exciting again in 1996 after it had got boring in my opinion, I was watching WCW more than since Elizabeth, Randy, and Hogan were there.
Anyways also I have never been a fan of Ric Flair's and he is not one of my favorites, but I had to put him on the list since he has accomplished so much in wrestling. I hope I don't get stoned by anyone for my list...lol.

I hope I don't get stoned by anyone for my list...lol. Nothing wrong with not having Flair high. Some people don't like Flair, some don't like Triple H, some don't like Hogan. It's YOUR list and make it whatever way you want.
