I think this is becomin' a trend, Iceman: I disagree with you. LOL The brand extension is one of the best ideas the WWE has had in years. Think of how many guys who've gotten the chance to debut (and grow into today's most popular Superstars) because of the fact that there are two separate rosters. Guys like John Cena and Batista (two most apparent examples), tag teams like Hurricane & Rosey, Billy & Chuck, and even the Hearthrobs, potentials like Chris Masters and Carlito and Ken Kennedy, and even veterans gettin' more TV time, like Bob Holly and JBL. Without this brand extension, guys like that would've been stuck in mediocre storylines against midcard or lower-card wrestlers.
I highly doubt that Smackdown will cease to exist, because it is *not* WCW. The WWE is run a completely different way than WCW was, and I don't think Vince will let that show fade into oblivion. Every week seems to get better and better for me, as I focus more and more on whether I'm being entertained (which I am, for the most part). It's startin' to get as exciting as it was three or four years ago, when guys like Brock Lesnar/Kurt Angle, Austin/'Taker, and even Benoit/Jericho were havin' great, creative feuds.
I hope it stays this way for a long time, because I'm gonna get to see more new stars develop their abilities, and show the fans that they really do belong in the biggest company in sports-entertainment.

I think that the roster split is a good thing. If WWE combined Smackdown and Raw again then we would see the same top tier people on both shows and there would be less time for others to break through. As has been said Batista and Cena would not be where they are now if there was one roster and the new talent would just get buried in the one massive roster. The tag division needs spicing up but with the Shane Twins Cade and Murdoch and The Highlanders on the way that seems to be happening. All we need now is for the Criserweights to be let loose more often (which now that Dustys on the team could be possible he made the X division in TNA) and I will be happier !

But the lockeroom and actual talant are all mainly on Matts side. And some of them are very freindly with Matt so they may very well work stiff against Edge from now on. Weather they would work on his neck of cores is anyones guess. But he might be comeing out of match fro the forseable futer with a couple of black & blues. IMO, if they are going to be like that, they have no business being in the WWE. Working stiff is not professional and if they are going to be professional wrestlers they should sure as hell act like it. That is one thing that gets me more than anything else. When you put your body, your life in someone else's hands, you trust them, and then they take advantage of that just because you don't like you?!? That is BS. What gives them the right to do that? Believe it or not they are working. Doing a job. I mean, would it be acceptable for you to hand a letter to your secretary telling your boss that oh, I don't know, you're going to be needing a new fax machine for your office and you need permission to buy it or something so you have her type it up and send it on for you. But she doesn't like you so, your secretary sends him a letter instead saying that you need to buy a monkey to replace your boss when he goes on vacation next week because the monkey could in fact get three times as much more work done than your boss does in a week's time. That's about how much sense working stiff makes to me. Just because they don't like you doesn't give them the right to jeopardize your career and in this case, life. It just doesn't. On a lighter note, I thought the match was great, but I was absolutely worried out of my mind after they took the big fall. I really thought Adam was hurt. Matt was moving a bit and he just overall seemed shook up, but not like seriously injured. Edge on the other hand looked genuinely hurt. But they're all right. Yesterday, on WWE Experience, Todd Grisham said that both Matt and Adam stayed overnight in a local "medical facility" or something for monitoring, but both are just fine. So you don't have to worry about Adam anymore, Wrestling Chick.

I remember when Hardcore Holly was on a Tough Enough 3, and totally took advantage of his role as guest trainer by stomping the holy hell out of Matt Capottelli's face. I lost all respect for him at that point, and thought he should've been duly punished for that. Completely out of line. On a lighter note, I thought the match was great, but I was absolutely worried out of my mind after they took the big fall. I really thought Adam was hurt. I don't like Matt any more for taking the risk, either, because he could've seriously hurt Matt, and a lot can be inferred from that one move.
