It was cool to see Kevin Von Erich and really cool seeing him do the Claw. Good respect on Vince's part to have him there. Didn't think he was that old or a retired legend yet sorta speak? Looks young enough to still Wrestle to, unless he's hurt? Would be cool to see him Wrestle in TNA or the WWE.

No Kevin's retired because he blames the preshures of the Wrestling buissnes for the death of his Brothers.
In fact he only recently started even appering in this kind of capacity a few years ago. For a long time he wanted nothing to do with the Buissness.
But yes good to see a Von Erich in the Ring again. Well when you thin about it for Years Dallas was Von Erich terratoriy, so he counts as a Local legend more then a WWF/E Legend.

Didn't know that Ricky. I understand what Kevin means and why he retired then. I give him respect, and respect for making a brief appearance in Von Erich Terrority (Dallas).

I really respect Kevin Von Erich and the memory of his brothers. They were something else. I was more happy to see him there than any of the other legends actually and I guess that says something. I know the Von Erich's weren't a huge presence in the WWE neccesarily and they had their own thing going on in Dallas, but they played a big part in wrestling history.
Do you know if they have any Von Erich DVDs, because I think it would be really cool of the WWE to put one out if they don't. I'm sure they could work with Kevin to make it all happen. As long as they weren't using it to make money off of him and his family, I don't see what would be wrong with that. I think it would be great actually. I'd buy it, I know that.

Well Amber, Ricky Cool said in the RAW Homecoming Thread:
So looks like we may be seeing some WCCW and Von Erich DVDs out there soon, that would be cool.

Oh, sorry, lol, I guess I missed that part.
I'm glad to hear that though... I think. Hopefully he wanted to be a part of it and wasn't there just out of obligation. However, I am happy that they'll be putting out a Von Erich DVD out.
I just hope they don't find some way to screw Kevin over. I mean, the wrestling business hasn't exactly been kind to his family in the grand scheme of things, but his family is definitely a respected one in the wrestling business, so I don't think he should run into any problems like that.

It's all good Amber. I don't think Kevin would be there strickly for that either, but for the love of the sport and for Von Erich Terrority since most of there matches were there as a family.
I don't think he'd get screwed, the Von Erich Family for years have been holding on the the tapes and rights to them. Vince has been trying to get them for some time I believe. And I thought the Von Erichs said they'd take it to their grave. But I guess that changed because I hope they got a great deal money wise and to help spread the good memories of the Von Erich name.
If anybody ever finds any details of the deal let us know.

Going back to the WCCW video library, I was under the impression that Kevin was just there to talk business and nothing had been finalized yet.

No it has been finalised. WWE paied an Undisclosed ammount of Money, Which was apparantly more or less Kevin's asking price for the Libary so I'd say that he obviusly thinks he got a good deal.
