Yup, you heard it , Ken Kennedy is out for 6 months, with a torn lat muscle, same as what Batista is working through now, only much worse. Kennedy is undergoing surgery today, and can't begin rehabbing for 3 months, and another 3 months before he cam get back in a ring.
Tough break, Kennedy showed real potential... I hope WWE put him back on TV for a short while before his in-ring return, in a non-physical role, so fans don't forget about him...

If WWE has any sense, they won't release him. He has an uncanny gift on the mic, the type not seen since the days of the Rock.

Yeah, I heard about his injury, a real shame. Life's weird like that with surprises, this time not a good one for Kennedy though. Your right Cradle, they should keep him around. Why not have him do some commentary for matches?
So Batista is going through a similar injury but not as bad recently? How come he still has the belt then? I never thought he was good enough for a belt in the first place so now is the time for somebody else to have it if Batista doesn't really wrestle as much due to injury.
Looks like the Boogyman will get a boost with Kennedy out then.

Yeah, Batista tore his lat muscle after taking a chokeslam from Kane and Big Show on Smackdown about a month back. He has had surgery, apparently, but is working through it.
As for taking the title off him, Eddie Guerrero was supposed to win the belt in a 3-way against Big Dave and Randy Orton, but that never happened, and I'm sure I don't need to say why.

I was reading about it on wwe.com, and the sugery apparently went well. Kennedy has to go back to the doctor in two weeks, where he's hoping that the he will be told the recovery time won't be as long as previously anticipated, due to the fact that the surgery did go so well. So maybe he'll be back a little sooner than we think.

Kennedy is the bomb. There's no way they're going to let people forget about him. I hope he gets his own little talk segment. Now that Christian has left for the greener pastures of TNA, they need something to fill the gap left by the loss of of the Peep Show. Cue Mr. Kennedy...
